Emerald Eye — Restaurant in Denver

In from Houston to watch the Astros beat the Rockies, so of course had to celebrate! Bouncing around bar to bar having a decent time,but never found a spot that I felt was my vibe..until I literally found this awesome spot by luck! Wasn't looking but I think I was directed by a higher power to be blessed to be invited in to this hidden gem. Upon the descension into what I can only describe as a rabbit hole that takes you to the best bar in Denver! In a group of 4(two couples) all sat at the bar and met "JP" who I can honestly say is the Real Deal ,in the Bartender/Mixologist.. straight up Genius! Not only were we served drinks that will blow your mind 🤯🤯🤯, but the education behind everything in the drink was the best. For someone who has a wealth of knowledge giving you VIP treatment and service, to be so down to earth was truly a sign of the future of this place! I had a very bizarre and disturbing experience at this bar. I was sitting at the bar with two of my friends having a very normal conversation, when one of the bartenders came and started yelling at us for being too loud. We asked who was complaining, and were apologetic but very confused because the music was far louder than we were. She kept screaming at us, and her manager came and joined. They told us we needed to leave or security would come. Again, we were doing nothing but talking, but we left because this was nuts. As we left another employee followed us and apologized profusely and told us the bartender was having a hard time, then the manager ran after us and screamed at us that we would never be welcome to Larimer Square again. I don't know what the hell was going on, but the whole experience made us feel humiliated and unsafe. Cannot recommend that anyone puts themselves in that situation by going...

Wyatt is one of, if not THE best bartender in Denver. Between crowd management and quality drinks, I’m amazed at the quality of service we have been provided on two separate occasions now. This was my second time visiting Emerald Eye, and my second time absolutely loving it. The Clarified Punch is by far the best cocktail I’ve ever had in my entire life. Honorable mention to the Woah Blackberry, which we’ve started with both times. We will absolutely be back any time that we are downtown and in need of a delicious, elevated, and satisfying beverage.
