We had a seamless, welcoming experience working with Madison on our custom engagement ring. My financé and I were seeking local jeweler options in Bucktown so I was extra-pleased to discover Madberet had relocated to this nook of the city not too long ago! She provided education, wonderful options, and though the final renderings were kept secret from me (per my request!) I was impressed with and totally excited by the initial drawings of what would ultimately become my engagement ring. Madison answered any questions I had with warmth and patience. Early on in our process, we stopped at two “big box” jewelers to verify the center stone shape I wanted and were both stunned by the markup. Madison offers exceptional work for a very fair cost. It’s so special to have worked with Madison, in our own neighborhood just a corner away from Club Lucky. My ring is everything I could have dreamed of and more—Madison’s customer service is second to none and the jewelry itself is exactly what I hoped for! She even helped my financé carry out a big surprise, we were away for a month helping family out of state and he was able to pick up the ring the day before we left for the road trip. I cannot recommend the engagement ring experience or any other experience at Madberet more! We did a custom design for my engagement ring and I was pretty sure what I wanted so when we went to look at the stones she sourced (so quickly I must add) I was like okay this one and those side stones. I didn’t want to waste her time, shopping like this was a new experience and I was like yeah that’s great, let’s go. But she went we’ve got all the time in the world let’s see how everything looks and feels together and on your finger. She made the whole experience so fun and comfortable and we ended up LOVING these other side stones that I wouldn’t have thought I would like. We’ve just gone back to get our wedding bands and same thing - so patient and kind as we tried stuff on and thought out loud. When we went to pick up the wedding bands, my fiancé’s was a tad small - she got it resized and even DROPPED IT OFF at our house. I’m getting earrings made for the wedding to match my grandmother’s pearl necklace and she’s been so wonderful showing me so many options and finding pearls. I’ve also gotten my favorite everyday earrings from her and loved them so much I got some for my mom (who also adores hers). We cannot recommend Madberet enough!
