I went to Jon Atencio originally because my girlfriend is from Denver and I wanted to buy a ring that had a connection to Denver. The process started in summer. Joanette very patiently showed us many different engagement rings and proactively asked for input on what Sam and I were looking for. We returned in October with instagram videos and reference pictures. These videos were of less than ideal clarity, but Joanette made sure to get every detail before we ultimately decided to order a ring. After a few months of returning, finding more reference pictures, and narrowing down preferences, Sam found an instagram video that had a similar style to the ring she envisioned she wanted. Despite the video being of less than ideal quality, Joanette assured us the designers would be able to make the ring Sam wanted. The ring went to the designers and shortly after it arrived. While we waited for it to arrive, Joanette sent us a 3D rendering of the ring they were building us. It was beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned. After the ring arrived in person, it was the most beautiful ring I’d ever seen. The designers nailed it. It exceeded our already high expectations. Throughout the whole process Jon Atencio and Joanette exhibited enormous patience, attention to detail, compassion, and a clear passion for what they do. I could not be happier with how it turned out and without their willingness to speak through our concepts until we made the design we envisioned, I don’t think we would have ended up with such a beautiful ring. This was probably one of the more joyous moments in my life this far. I just happened to walk into John Atencio jewelry store on Larimer and was greeted by two incredible women, Jonette and Shannon. It was as if we had been friends for years. I was just looking and they said let’s try some on. I did and fell in one with one style. I ran out and got my husband. I had not had an engagement ring on since my diagnosis of cancer, 12 years ago. Now, my adventure was about to begin. I returned 2 days later, with my daughter, and picked a style with the help of Jonette. We got the style I wanted and the diamond size. It was such a wonderful experience. My smile was so big, my face hurt. Jonette and Shannon kept me posted during the entire process of my ring being made. When I got the call that it was ready, I dressed up and my husband and I, drove down to get it. I was so excited. I was beaming and so were Jonette and Shannon. I said, I almost brought champagne with me, that’s how excited I was. They both said, we have champagne! In seconds, I had my beautiful ring on and a glass of champagne in hand. I have been working with Cheryl for over a year in wanting a larger natural stone/ring for my wedding setting . My 1st diamond was a stunning diamond and I wanted the same quality of stone just larger.

Cheryl was very patience with me , which meant I would go in periodically we would look @ different settings @ different sizes of stone in this whole process I was able to start understanding the World of Diamonds.
