Not served because I did not know my ID had expired a few weeks ago.
Imagine being a drug dealer and not serving "drugs" (alcohol), for cash tips, (-bartending is a drug hussle for tips) to a 40 year old man because of expiration dates. It was very obvious that I wasn't the police and far beyond the age restrictions for alcohol use. My birth date was clearly visible on my identification.
Plus, the inexperienced bartender made the worst drinks for the people I was with. Not even making this up. Lol that was what made this even more goofy
Bartenders literally kill people through enabling DUI's, addiction and cause turmoil in the night scene of Denver, that leads to violence, destruction, injury and crippling hangovers. lol.
Get your priorities straight. Those expiration dates though.. hahahahaha.
The ID showed a date of 40 years ago, the bartender could have literally served his drugs like a man without any issue. It was kind of pathetic to see a drug (alcohol) dealing male Karen with contradicting morals. I was laughing as we walked out and I was happily and kindly served elsewhere.

They have a few games in this fun dive bar that seems to host locals that work in the surrounding offices mostly during happy hour. Usually Williams has lively crowd and bar mixed with office workers and people that live in the area. It is not a nice dive bar but it is a fun time. Itâs probably fun because everyone there is buying a beer and getting a shot too for $5.50. There is a punching bag game and a single pool table that is usually too crowded to play. Williams is not the prettiest bar but I donât know one you will get cheaper drinks at while downtown. Right next door is a bar that is selling a single beer alone for 7 and 8 dollars. This is one of those places that could be a one star or a ten star to you. It depends on what you are looking for. If itâs just a place to grab a drink and party for a little bit youâre in...
Read moreThe Williams is one of those places people tend to love or hate. It's very barebones which is one of the reasons I like it. If you are looking for a nondescript place to enjoy a beer or drink you won't find too many places that are as unadorned. The bartenders here are...mixed. Some friendly others more stoic. Not necessarily a bad thing but it's definitely a preference thing. During happy hour they do a beer & shot combo fir like five bucks. The crowd is pretty low-key. Sure, you'll find a few hipsters. We are in Denver after all. But you'll also find neighborhood folks that are pretty down-to-earth. The Williams is a nice oasis if you want to get away from every other trendy hipster...
