I’m with my family visiting Denver for a night and ordered the sampler appetizer and the pita combo platter to be delivered to my hotel room. The delivery via grub hub was fast and professional. The food tastes AMAZING! I am not impressed with the packaging. The tzakiki sauce and garlic sauce were heaped into one undivided dish with two stuffed grape leaves buried in the middle. The hummus and baba ghanoush were heaped into another undivided dish with two stuffed grape leaves rolls buried in the middle as well. The lamb, chicken and rice were great but I couldn’t tell you about the beef kebab, I didn’t get it despite the restaurant saying I did. It was all good for me as I have eaten all these dishes before but my boyfriend was new to the middle eastern cuisine and everything was muddled for him although he did really enjoy it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as the food is absolutely delicious. If you’re ordering it as takeout I would suggest putting in the notes to keep everything separate if you don’t want it mixed together. This restaurant would’ve gotten five stars for me but I deducted two for packaging and missing a kebab. Also spare yourself asking for extra tzaziki sauce because all you get is a little pill container...
Read moreDespite the review someone left claiming the 5 star reviews are from the owner’s friends I can confirm I am not a friend of his, nor was I asked to leave this review. That being said we went to a show at the Ogden and unfortunately one of our group’s car got towed. Since it was super late and freezing cold we were so thankful this place was open until 1am. We ordered the white sauce pizza and I’m genuinely not kidding when I say, that’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. So good in fact, that we ordered another one to go. It was hot and made fresh for us. Yes we had to wait a little bit for it but worth it to have fresh food. Not to mention the gentleman who helped us (I’m a jerk and forgot to ask his name) was friendly and kind. This location is on Colfax so there is the typical homeless population wandering in but he was quick to usher them out. Is it the nicest atmosphere and location? No, however I’m very sad we live over an hour from here and will likely be making a special trip back just for this pizza in the...
Read moreThree of us went on a Thursday night around 5:30. It didn't take long before he came to take our order, but it took FOREVER to get the food. We ordered 3 appetizers; 1 order of Grape leaves, 1 order of falafels, 1 calamari, and a bowl of chicken soup and 1 sharwarma combo plate with salad. We also ordered a diet coke and 2 iced teas. First the grape leaves came out, then a bit later the falafels. Then came the chicken soup followed by 2 teas, then next came out a can of diet soda. Next was the calamari after most of the other food was gone. I think the salad came last and we asked if they could just make the combo plate to go. It was around 7:15 by this time. To top off the night the bill came to over $50. I think they added up in their heads and their total didn't match what I saw. We ha ticket for a show at the Fillmore and wanted to get in at 7. Will not...
