Burrito Girl “La Wanakita” — Restaurant in Eugene

There are so many great Hispanic eateries all around us! From carts to brick and mortar...so much deliciously prepared food. Burrito Girl is the finest of taquerias. She's moved locations a couple of times and I'll follow her wherever her business goes.

I want to speak such high praise of the food and tell those what I experienced but the truth is: Myra makes each meal so intentionally for the requester, that is is not comparable to others.

Previously, my favorite was El Taco Express in Springfield, which remains a dependably, fantastic place to get good quality food. They are quick, accurate, and authentic.

Burrito Girl tops them all.

I live in Corvallis now. I like to drive down once every two weeks with a friend, family member, date, whatever! I will always love her food.

She is the best in town. If You're going to Chipotle instead of this place, you're a fool. Been going here the last 7yrs or so. The food is incredible quality made fresh to order, and her green sauce she makes is very refreshing with great balance of spice and flavor. She offers organic rice and beans, and the composition of the burrito is delicious. Prices are more than fair, and your stomach is Happy after you eat the food, you don't get annihilated from the inside out like you would after Taco Bell. Besides all this, the lady is very nice and great conversation. The veggie burrito sounded amazing but I wanted to add eggs. The cashier told me they couldn't because the mix for the burrito is already mixed and it would be "harder". No language barrier just customer service barrier. Anyway I guess I'd prefer something made fresh to order. I've worked in kitchens all my life and am confident I could make a few scrambled eggs in minutes not to mention it's easy and heck to do.
