Let me preface this by saying I am a GF tourist constantly on the hunt for a good donut. I love trying new places all over the US and I can say with certainty that this place missed the mark for me. I ordered several pastries (savory and sweet) and a cappuccino for around $40, most of which I’d never purchase again. A few points of concern: there was not a working microwave to warm up the baked goods, this is not a sit-down style establishment, nor was there a public bathroom in case you need one. Probably the worst cappuccino I’ve ever tasted (the staff drinking coffee from a place down the street should have been a sign) but thankfully the lemon cheese danish was scrumptious! I also enjoyed the blueberry scone, it’s a nice soft texture and was perfect when I warmed it up at the hotel. Wouldn’t recommend the chocolate donut, spend the money on anything else. The staff were very courteous and polite with every customer we saw. This place does have GF/vegan options in case someone needed to know. I do appreciate that they have a rotating selection of items, I would be willing to go back and see if maybe I caught them on an off day. I’ll update my review if I ever return.

Elegant Elephant did the wedding cake and desserts for our wedding day and they all turned out amazingly! My wife and her mother are Gluten Free and Elegant Elephant blew us away at every turn. The presentation and then the dessert bar that we planned for and order was a hit! Our guests loved the options because "not everyone likes cake" so what we did was have a small "his and hers" cake and then a dessert buffet full of donuts, cupcakes, cake pops and it was all gluten free and delicious. I caught a friend taking two plates of cupcakes back to his room at the end of the night, THAT'S how good it was. The decoration and presentation of everything was fantastic too. Jessica was a great communicator and delivered the most beautiful cake to go with our outdoors, coastal themed wedding day. Thank you so much to Jessica and the team for everything they did to help make our day so unique and special. Truly a great treat.

I am only giving this 5 stars because I don't want to harm the business, just to warn people this bakery is ENTIRELY GLUTEN FREE. When I recently ordered a birthday cake I did not realize that. So my 7 year olds birthday cake went mostly untouched by the guests. I thought it was a normal bakery that did gluten free options. That assumption was incorrect. I didn't do a thorough read through the reviews. Just googled bakery, called and ordered a cake. I'm new-ish to Eugene. I've learned my lesson lol. The cake was cute and icing was yummy though...

I love the banana bread. Unfortunately, I ordered a sugar-free chocolate cream pie for mother's day and it was inedible.

I wish I had tried something sugar-free on a smaller scale before ordering a special dessert for a special day. I had seen a picture of a sugar-free dessert that they posted on Facebook some time back and it looked beautiful.

The chocolate cream pie was beautiful too, but no one could take a second bite. The chocolate was so overpowered by the taste of stevia that you would have never guessed it was a chocolate dessert. Chocolate and cream don't need much sweetening to be tasty, so I thought it was a safe bet, but the only flavor was stevia, overwhelmingly stevia with a powerful and lingering bitter stevia aftertaste.

I absolutely respect what they do here. Just be aware of this in case you ever hope to have a sugar and...
