The Box Sports Bar & Casino — Restaurant in Fargo

I've never been there before, but I was looking for a local type bar. It definitely seemed to be that. The bartender -- Patrick -- was nice, appetizers were good, and they seem to have daily specials etc. I was curious about how gambling in North Dakota works. Being from Nevada, it's very different. I wish I could remember his name because he answered my questions clearly and was very pleasant. I'd like to go back there again and check it out during a quieter time. I'm kind of looking for a local place to meet new people have a beer once in a while.

Came to Fargo for a funeral service and stayed at the Holiday Inn next door on Memorial Day. We (about 25 people) headed to The Box because the Holiday Inn bar and casino wouldn't have been able to keep up. Despite our large group surprising them last minute, the crew at The Box gave us great service with both food and lots of drinks to celebrate the life of our brother before we said our goodbyes the next day. It was a fun little bar 🍸 the bartenders were fun drinks were decently priced the only thing was I thought I'd just drop 20 or so on the blackjack table just for fun I never expect to win just a little entertainment for a few minutes so after a couple of losing hands I jokingly said to the dealer you suck well wow didn't think I'd make the guy almost cry and get a lecture so if you play don't joke around with the dealer I didn't mean anything by it just harmless banter...
