I just got a ND license. I moved here from a different state. The staff was Friendly. They will explain what you need if you forgot something. I’m going back in two days to trade in for the real ID because I forgot a form. Do yourself and others a favor and double check before you leave your house and bring all forms the website says you need. Roxy is the best, she was so patient when I did not have all my documents together.

The mornings are best. Evenings are busy and it’s packed. If I could give one piece of advice for management here is to hire more staff for the counters in the evenings. The staff was working as fast as they could but a lot of people are coming in and seemed like way too many customers for the amount of staff.

I would hire someone specifically to explain what is needed or help those that need assistance. That way if someone is in line and need assistance they will be moved to staff member hired specifically for that purpose and the line can keep on moving while everyone...

ND DMV easy outgrew the facility that was ND DOT off of West side of i29.

This current location (9/2]/21) is a temporary place as the re model the actual location next door they are going to transfer to as a permanent home.

I was unable to schedule an appointment to renew my DL because my mother was not doing well. I didn't know when I would be back home in Fargo. My mom passed away last month so after taking care of her things, I just showed up to renew my license...not only was the wait not long, but the staff was wonderful!
