We arrived around 11:45 PM Tuesday 5/23. The drive-thru was wrapped around the building. We figured that it was moving a bit slow due to a tractor trailer in the lot that we assumed was delivering food to the location. We waited 23 minutes before having our order taken (So much so that one person in our car left the car and smoked a cigarette - while we moved 2 car lengths). When we finally ordered we ordered a salad for one of our pregnant passengers. They only had one type (OK that's understandable as it was 11:45 at night) so we ordered another combo - Out of the cheese for it. (OK again) Baked Potato - Out. At this point one person in our group asked what they do have. We finished our order and had to correct it twice to the point the attendant got snippy. We waited in the drive thru - which was so backed up that the location shut all of the lights off. Sign, Parking Lot, Awning, Menu board - everything. We thought maybe they closed at Midnight and forgot to cut off the lights - but then we saw a sign that said 2am. We get to the window and pay. It's been 43 minutes now (We wanted to leave but not being from around the area we did not know if we would find anything else to eat). As we get ready to leave we notice we are missing fries - we ask and were told "you didn't order them". We would have checked our receipt but we weren't given one and they couldn't get us one. So we pull off only to notice that we did not receive the 10 piece chicken either. We walk up to the window (we weren't going to wait in the drive thru again) and when we inquire about it are told "You're wrong, I put them in a separate bag with the fries"....that we were just told we didn't order. At that point I go and grab all of the bags and put them in the window and ask them where they see either item. This is after the car in front of us went through the same issue. They actually were hitting the window until the team opened the window. We then are thrown the nuggets. I have never seen anything as sad or unprofessional as this location. Which stinks because I really am brand loyal. All 4 people in my car have agreed that it's going to be a while before we return to Wendys. I am not exaggerating when I say 7 cars left. We were counting them because that was the only time we moved up...

So I ordered my meal then I seen the huge cookie 🍪 and thought well I never tried a cookie from Wendy's so this will be a first...so I purchased 1 and as soon as I go to break off a piece of it the whole thing cracked it was so stale and hard as rock, the cashier even looked like he was surprised😱.. So after he finished with the customer order that was next I mentioned the issue and stated I wanted a fresh 1 made. I asked how long the cookies had been sitting there but He apologized and said his shift just begin so he didn't know. So he told the manager and the manager came to me with his NASTY ASS ATTITUDE and said its gonna be at least 20 minutes didn't apologize or nun and acted like he was pissed off..last time I checked I was the customer and I paid my money so I should be the only 1WITH AN ATTITUDE IF THERE WAS 1 TO BE HAD...So I stated that's fine I'll wait 20 minutes because I not leaving 🚶💨 with an stale cookie and I need mine to be fresh...so the manager face turned red and he yelled for 1 of the crew members to put on a cookie and then walked away..I FEEL LIKE IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB CHANGE CAREERS BUT DON'T ACT DUMB FOUNDED LIKE HE DIDN'T KNOW THEY BEEN SITTING THERE ALL DAY. .So the cashier apologized again, and I said its fine its not your fault so I waited and waited😣 I was starting to get pissed because I ordered my meal already and by this time it was getting cold..I asked the cashier were they done he checked and the crew member were bringing me 2 fresh cookies although I only paid for 1 and gave me fresh fries due to the wait.. She acted more responsible than the stupid manager..she was the only 1 that made my wait worthwhile. Everyone don't have management...
Read moreWe were late getting out of Disney with no dinner so decided to stop at wendys. I have only had it once since last summer and boy have we noticed a difference in the Wendy's nationwide. On a long road trip last summer we stopped many times at Wendy's. I got hooked on their huge baked potatoes with cheddar and bacon. The potatoes were very good tasting and at least I got some protein with the cheese and bacon. This time those potatoes weren't an option. They only had sour cream and chives. It was about half the size of last year's potatoes and did not have the same taste at all. The chicken sandwiches have also changed and not in a good way. They are much smaller and a totally different chicken. We also got a bacon double stack. Very pitiful size of burgers. Tonight when we stopped we couldn't get into the restaurant because they had the door locked. Even though it was before dining room closing time. So we had to go through the drive through. Now you no longer get to talk to a real person . It's all automated and we couldn't get through to them that we had a coupon. But on to the plus's. The person that delivered our food was very nice and helpful. We had a large order and they got everything right. Also I have had the chocolate frosty twice this week and I actually feel like they taste even better than they used to. So not everything has gone completely down hill. But I do believe with all of the changes Wendy's has done to their food, I won't be eating there again. I will only order the frosty and go elsewhere for food. I don't think this food quality is a local issue, I believe it is nationwide and due to Dave dying and no longer here to make sure the food is up to...
