First off it was very expensive I've been to other cicis and I get charged max $26 and som change ! You guys charge 30. N change which is crazy. Then you got the employee spraying all over the place. All the pizza was cold and repeated pepperoni and spinach and Mac pizza.. so I asked to be made a half veggie half cheese and chicken pizza. The mushrooms that were used were rotten as soon as I lifted the pizza to bite it caught me the rotten smell so I looked at the pizza and noticed the icky moldy texture on the mushrooms. I told the manager he asked to bake me a new on. But if I wouldn't have noticed I would have gotten sick. I would never visit this area or let anyone that I know eat here. It's disgusting and it smells like a sink full with dirty dishes. 😭😭😭 The saddest part about it is I'm tired I jus came out of work me and my husband we decided not to cook dinner and this is what we get. So second one came out and they handed it in a box which was really nice of them. Due to really we were the only customers left there. It was about 10:25 pm. We take the box refill our cups w drinks and head to car to finally eat and watch a bit of TV on phone but pizza dough was uncooked!. Moral of all this is don't go to cicis two hrs prior them closing. It's NOT WORTH IT. GO EAT AT CANES CHICKEN I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A BETTER DEAL FOR LESS AND ATE 10 TIMES BETTER. 😏 all I wanted was...
Read moreI went there because it was heavily advertised in tourist magazines and city ads. For dine-in, it's an amazing deal at $12 for all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, salad, and drinks. Because of this, the restaurant was quite crowded, and there was even a line at the cashier. You pay first and then eat.
We did takeout. You can choose the crust for the pizza, and despite not being in Chicago, we could still choose deep-dish pizza that I ordered. You can also choose the sauce, not just tomato. I chose Alfredo sauce.
They said it would take 10 minutes, but it took a bit longer. However, I was surprised when the cashier came to us around 15 minutes after paying and said, "Your order is almost ready, I can give it to you shortly." I had never seen such service at a cheap restaurant in America.
I had prepared for everything in America to be quite expensive due to inflation, but I realized that both those who go to expensive restaurants and those who go to cheap ones can enjoy eating out, which is very nice.
The restaurant is located next to a mini-golf , so it's easy to find to head towards the volcano. Be prepared to wait a little.
I was a bit disappointed because I was imagining Chicago-style pizza and found there was not enough cheese inside, but the taste was very delicious, and considering the price, I thought it was...
Read moreWe we're looking for a quick place to eat, but wanted to sit and take our time. I typically really enjoy their pasta and red sauce, and their pizzas have soft but crisp crusts. This Cicis was PACKED for a Sunday night (but also prime spring break time). The food looked great, and came out quickly, but the dining area...was disgusting. There were so many families trashing their tables and not cleaning up after themselves. There were piles of trash on the floor, food everywhere, and stacks upon stacks of dirty plates just hanging out. We managed to find a semi clean table, but noticed other families struggling to find anything remotely clean. I didn't see a single staff person sweeping, cleaning, or bussing for the entire 30 minutes we were there. I'm not sure if there wasn't enough staff to spread around or if they assume the customers will clean up after themselves...it was not a good or sanitary situation. It was slightly concerning because all of that filth was so close to the food.
Our meals were good, affordable, and quick. If it was cleaner I would have enjoyed the experience more. We ate quickly and left. In general great food,...
