So disappointed in this location. I use two locations primarily, Flowood and Madison (Main St/Baptist Dr location). I go to Madison 2-3 mornings a week and their speed and efficiency is always impressive! They have a high volume of customers so the workers are constantly busy! I went to this Flowood store on a Sunday afternoon. I stood there just watching the employees walk slowly around the back, making jokes and talking more than working. The line was short when I arrived but by the time I left (20 minutes later) the in store line was to the door and the drive thru line around the building. I placed a mobile order 10 minutes before arriving. Yet I still waited 20 minutes inside. I watched a gentleman pick up my order, walk around the kitchen area and set my cup down over 5 times. It was cold brew with milk. Yet from the time he picked it up to when he handed it to me was over 10 minutes. Again, it was not busy when I came in. He would start talking to his coworkers or make a joke and forget my cup! All the employees were the same way, very distracted. I was telling a friend about my experience and she has had similar experiences there too! She said once they locked the door because the line was too long inside, yet they did not attempt to speed up production or put aside distractions. I told the guy I wanted a venti decaf iced coffee with almond milk, cold foam and cinnamon on top 3 times because he kept asking me to repeat it. The screen was out so I could not see my order when I was done and he did not repeat it back, instead he told me my total which was $7.39 so I drove around. I get up to the window and he tries to hand me a regular hot coffee. I told him I ordered an iced coffee. He comes back with an iced coffee with no cold foam. I told him I ordered cold foam, so he goes back to fix that, he comes back and hands it to me and it has no cinnamon on top but by this point I’m fed up so I decide to drink it without. I go to drive off and take a sip out of the coffee and it was hot. I looked at the cup and it had a total of about 3 iced cubes. It was too hot to drink as an iced coffee so I had to turn around and walk inside and ask for more ice. This experience was not worth the headache and the $7.39 that I spent. Read moreOriginal review(2 stars): Service is always friendly and accommodating, but that only gets you so far. They rarely are able to provide my drink order. They’re either out of cold brew or the nitro system is down. It’s like ordering ice cream at McDonald’s at this point, but I at least have more success there. I keep going back thinking it was just a fluke and these things happen, but it’s getting ridiculous at this point.
Updated review: Way better at having cold brew in stock, though they’re still occasionally out. Understandable. Morning weekday staff is superb. Fast and courteous. Never any issues. Weekend morning staff needs a lot of work. I’ve rarely had a good experience going at that time. They’re inattentive and best case scenario they’re just way slower.
