It's really sad that we planned this for so long with my friends to end up in this unpleasant experience. I was in the group of 11 girls, we were having the best time, our waiter was really kind and nice, I smoke, and I am VERY respectful in public places, even open places. I went out to the patio, looked around and didn't see any "no smoking" or "tobacco free place" signs and there were only five people on the patio. FIRST LIE that the patio was full of people. Up until that point I was the only one who lit a cigarette. It wasn't long before a kind and sweet lady (worker) approached me, asking me to please put out my cigarette because the patio had flammable turf and it could be dangerous. Even though there was no sign of that danger, I apologized to the lady and immediately put out the cigarette. When I returned to the dining room, I first went to the bathroom and when I returned to my table, not everyone was there and I told my friends what happened. 4 or 5 of my friends had gone out to the patio to smoke and enjoy the place witch was very nice, SINCE THERE WAS NO "NO SMOKING" SIGN, two of them lit their cigarettes and the owner approached them in a very unfriendly manner and told them that smoking was prohibited because of the flammable turf and left away. So they decided to go to an area with only dirt and rocks further away from the turf (No hiding), to an area where there were no other customers. SECOND LIE, they were NOT bothering anyone, they were NOT in the flammable turf, they were NOT hiding and more than one had her drink in her hand. However, the owner's attitude was automatically rude from the start. The owner approached them again to tell them with a worse attitude, to put out their cigarettes, and that since they were not consuming (spending money) they better should leave, because she had a lot of people waiting. As my friends were taking too long to return to the table, we went out to see what was going on and they told us what I described above. That is totally unacceptable, the worst of all is that when she later saw us all inside and realized how much we had already consumed (the money we had already spent) and that she had totally screwed up, she approached us very cheerfully, laughing about the "misunderstanding" without offering a minimal apology for her bad manners. If she had approached us with a friendly attitude, we would have responded in a better way. And we were not smoking illegally, because there was no sign in the place saying that it was a Free Tobacco place. I would say that she could be the one to blame for the illegality since she does not have any kind of signage about the highly flammable material in her place. I hope the owner of this place has the decency to read this message carefully and respond without copying and pasting her answer as she has done with all the opinions that my friends...

Read moreWe had fun and overall I would recommend going here to any ladies looking for a unique experience while in town.
The Bubble Bar itself is insanely gorgeous. You can tell so much hard work goes into this establishment. However, I do think there are some insider tidbits that should be noted before going…
I’d be lying if I didn’t mention our disappointment in how expensive ($75+ per person) the “Bubbly Booze Cruise Disco Bus” tour is and does NOT include a single beverage- even at the Bubble Bar itself, which is your first “stop” on the tour. The cost of the tour is simply transportation and experience. I do wish we had known this up front.
Our bus driver, Maria, was incredibly accommodating and friendly! However, everyone on our bus was a bit disappointed because she informed us there would not be a tour guide/host that day. Not her fault by any means. But from what she described, it sounded like we really didn’t get the full experience and what we saw in the review photos.
Between us (2) and the only other group (6) on the bus, (a total of 8 of us on a 40 person school bus) we collectively decided to ask Maria to take us back to our vehicles because we became bored pretty quickly- turns out wineries are not the place to be at 12pm on a Friday. All 8 of us were absolutely starving as the two wineries we were taken to did not offer any provisions. This made it a bit difficult to keep up with the tastings on an empty stomach once we approached and surpassed lunch time. Overall, I don’t think I’d recommend the early in the day tours unless you have a large group..
I’d like to reiterate that I do recommend this fun and unique experience, but advise on reading...
