H-E-B Bakery — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

I have placed several orders before and been pleased... the Italian creme cake is our family’s go-to for celebrations. My husband loves the tres leches! However, this past weekend is why I feel like reviewing... We were able to place an order the day before for my child’s first birthday. The lady who helped me at the counter was patient with answering my questions, informative with my order choices, and recorded it perfectly. The smash cake was a wonderful addition and made great pictures that will be sweet memories forever! My sister was there to pick it up the morning of, and it was ready to go! The cakes were made exactly to my liking and quite a hit at the birthday party! Every bite was moist and delicious! The icing was wonderful! Thank you bakery team, for going above and beyond my procrastinating and expectations! You helped make the celebration go smoothly and beautifully! We will continue to use you...

It's a shame how down hill the bakery has gone. Fredericksburg H-E-B bakery is the worse one to go to. Me and three of my coworkers have gone and experienced issues. The staff is rude and the answer is always "no we can't do that" we ask for "Happy Birthday to be written" we make simple requests. I grew up eating H-E-B cakes and I always had a pleasant experience growing up. It's sad that I am now forced to go order at wal-mart bakery. We usually order $50-$100 bakery goodies for birthdays...Just letting you know my business will go elsewhere...
