We were visiting from Weatherford Texas. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, and the egg rolls, the sauce for the egg rolls were some sort of Chipotle raspberry sauce, and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the shrimp were jumbo shrimp and they serve you 7 pieces, they didn't have that shrimp taste to them at all, which is amazing for myself. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp ceviche, it was served in a very elegant soup bowl on a plate with a delicious tortilla chip's. I ordered the fish and chips, the 2 pieces of fish were bigger then what I'm used to ordering from your average seafood restaurants, the fries weren't anything spectacular, but didn't even eat them. Lol. The service was exactly what a restaurant should provide to their customers, and our waitress was friendly, she made sure our drinks were not empty, she was very friendly, and professional. The manager even spoke to us upon leaving. I must say we will be back in the future.

Such good food, incredibly friendly service, and the interior had such a cozy feeling. Its in a very old building that almost looks like a house on the inside; we felt like we were having dinner in somebody’s living room. Loved it! Also, some very unique decor that added extra charm. I ordered carne asada street tacos, which came with homemade tortilla chips and peach (?) salsa with a spicy kick. It was legit the best salsa I’ve ever had. The tacos were also amazing - so flavorful and juicy. My husband got the fish and chips, which were MASSIVE, and it came with fries. Husband loved it all! (There’s some dude on here who posted a 4 star review even though he said the food and service were amazing. Why not 5? Nobody told him how big the fish and chips were. Like come on…). The only pics I took were of a few of the SEVERAL peacock decorations they had. So here they are.

With a dining room illuminated by white garage lighting, decorated with mismatched antiques and filled with the sounds of bossa nova, you may not feel like you’re in a Mexican restaurant, but maybe that’s part of the charm. We had friendly service, but our food was as strangely curated as the antiques. The fish tacos ($17) missed every mark: unsalted fish, boring sauces, shredded lettuce reminiscent of a cafeteria, cold tortillas. The ceviche, finely diced with filler vegetables like carrot and tomato (as one might find in Colima, on the Western coast), was okay, but nothing special for $16. If you’re visiting from Austin or San Antonio, you’ll likely be disappointed. If you dabble in bland Mexican — and no shame in that! — you might enjoy Nury’s.

I am a resident of Fredericksburg and have eaten at Nury's on Hwy 87 and their food truck location several times. Today my wife and I finally made it to Nury's on Main Street. I have always been pleased with the food and service and today was no exception. I love ceviche and wasn't sure whether I should order the fish or the shrimp. Mariana was so nice as she brought me a small sample of both. I have had the fish version a couple of times at the food truck and loved it. I sampled the shrimp and it was decidedly different in that is had a nice kick - I ordered it. Both dishes are great and I'll be back for more. A shout out to Luis - a very nice guy who looks after his business and customers. Nury's is a great spot - Hwy 87, Main Street, and the Food Truck Park. ...
