Linens N More Inc — Local services in Fredericksburg

Today, January 27, 2021 I visited Linens-n-More in Fredericksburg, Texas. I browsed at least 20 minuets and was never greeted nor asked if I would like some assistance. The selection of merchandise was nice, however customer service was not good! I shopped at this store in 2019 and spent $$$ and had planned to purchase several items today. I was interested in the soaps, placemats, and napkins. When I entered the store there were two customers that left within the first 3-4 minutes when I entered. For the next few minutes, there were not any other customers in the store that I observed. I finally asked a clerk the price of the Rance Josephine Soap, she gave the price and even at that time did not ask if she could assist me, nor appear friendly. I also looked at placemats and napkins because I was interested purchasing some of those items too. After being in the store a few more minutes, another customer entered the store and was immediately asked if she could be helped. It was at that moment that I decided not to purchase anything and left the store. I believe in supporting small shops when possible, however (being a visitor in the town) I will not ever shop at Linens-n-More again. In fact, upon leaving the store, I got on Amazon and purchased a box of the Rance soap that I saw in the store. Maybe Linens-n-More is doing extremely well and does not feel a need to offer good customer service to every person that enters their store. That's really unfortunate because one never knows how each customer can be a blessing to...

Great sheets and even better customer service!

My wife and I stayed a couple of days in Fredericksburg in December 2017. We stopped in at this store, liked the sheet selection, and purchased a set of king sheets for our master bed. We really liked the dark navy color that they had and the price was reasonable.

Unfortunately, when we got home, through no fault of the store, the package that we purchased contained a queen sized fitted sheet instead of a king. We had driven over 3 hours to get home and did not want to turn around and have to drive back to Fredericksburg to exchange the sheets. We called the location and multiple employees there were very helpful! They gathered our information and once they got the sheets that we had purchased in stock they mailed us a new set and we love them!

They went completely above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more grateful! Next time we need sheets/towels/etc. we will definitely be...

Went and browsed the store and wife found a couple of quilt sets she liked. While browsing the owner talked to us and pointed us upstairs where there were more quilts. We settled on a set and purchased it. When we got home wife was browsing the internet for the lighter blue version of the quilt and saw that we could have gotten it $100.00 cheaper at many other stores like Kohls, Bed-Bath and Beyond, and the most unlikely place Home Depot.
