After reading all the reviews, we were excited to try this place. We booked a reservation for 7:15. Got there a half an hour early and was seated right away. Our waitress was nice but not good enough for the amount of money we spent on dinner. It took FOREVER to get drinks to the table. We put our order in, my soup came out before the dozen raw oysters we ordered. Which was fine but my meal was soup and salad so they both could have come out together so I wasn’t eating in front of my kids. The crab bisque was delicious. The shucked oysters, went down like candy. So good! I ordered a salad, son ordered the grilled shrimp (asked what side he wanted so my son said fries…) (just note the grilled shrimp was $16 on the menu) my husband ordered the mini tower ($68 bucks) and my girls ordered two kids cheese burgers. So when we all got our food before our husband, we just began eating. We were there 1.5 hours at that point and just wanted to get back to the hotel. Well, my husband didn’t get his food until he asked our waitress for it after my son’s food was gone, half my salad was gone. So by the time we got done and we got the bill, we were here for TWO HOURS with our three children. The bill comes and our waitress rang the shrimp my son ordered as a $30 meal so when we asked her about the $16 price on the menu, she said he ordered fries as a side and my husband said “so we paid $14 for French fries” and she said “well, he got an extra skewer of shrimp and fries.” My son just wanted the $16 grilled shrimp off the menu and didn’t want the extra sides and such to have made it a big meal, especially after we ordered oysters and the mini tower. After paying our bill, when walking back to the trolly stop, my husband and I both agreed that the food was good but the service was crap. There was no reason why his food sat on the counter for her to bring it to our table and didn’t. I also found it ridiculous that our waitress couldn’t us our bill faster was because she was sitting there de shelling a lobster at a table. We had to sit and wait for her to finish that and watch her refill water glasses at another table than to finish us up. She had to have known we were there a LONG TIME. No excuse for seafood when most of it was raw, took as long as it did to come out. Ps. The mini tower lobster and crab legs should have been warm. Not sitting on ice. How odd to eat those things in drawn...
Read moreWent in with high hopes. The smell of restaurant is immediately pungant of raw seafood - maybe not so pleasant and welcoming to/for all - it was reminiscent of a seafood market.
We arrived a little late for RSVP yet were sitted down fairly quickly- Thank Goodness!
Our server was okay, she messed up a few orders, took over an hour 1 take out order. she served smaller tables before taking a table of 8 that had arrived before other smaller tables. Very dismissive towards our table.
Ordered the following; Alaskan crab fingers - they were tasty but overcooked, would still recommend a try Calamari, bland, the coating was crispy but had absolutely no flavor to it, thank goodness for the mustard sauce, it ssved the appetizer Bread basket - everything was delicious except the cornbread, it was absolutely dry and bland Grilled Chicken Kids meal - decent size, cooked well, comes with a side of choice Fried Cod Kids meal - smaller yet filling cod pieces with choice of side. Wolfish Alfredo - tasty and petty standard, nothing out of this world. Ribeye Steak with loaded potato- steak prepared to asked term, nothing special to make this steak memorable, potato standard as well - classic meal 2 Filet and Lobster Tail with a choice of side - this was a hot mess! From the beginning our waitress claimed they had run out of dish, yet took order anyways. The meal arrived, she made a mistake and put in shrimp instead of lobster, she realized and brought out (3) lobster tails of about 2oz each- the meal supposedly was supposed to come with 10oz tails BIG DIFFERENCE! One of the filets was cooked well and was sent back - took over 25min for another filet and it was sent out RARE instead of medium by kitchen. The grilled shrimps were rubbery and overcooked, had to soak them in butter and lemon juice to reconstitute moistness. At the end, the waitress ended up removing one of the meals because of the mess ups. Much appreciated. Gumbo - rice was al dente and soup was okay, not a hit nor a miss. Bullet Rye Old Fashioned - spot on, complements to the bar tender!
Would be hesitant to return for anything other than drinks and the appetizer alaskan claws

Read moreDeeply disappointing – rude service, bad food, and overpriced. Please read before you go.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel a responsibility to share what happened so others don’t go through the same terrible experience we did.
We were a group of three adults and one child. Our English isn’t perfect, but we try our best, and we believe that kindness and patience in customer service should be universal – unfortunately, that was not what we received here.
When ordering, the waiter showed clear impatience. He sighed, shook his head, and made us feel like we were a burden. It was uncomfortable from the very beginning.
Then came the food. One of the oysters we ordered was clearly bad – it smelled off and tasted spoiled. When I asked the waiter about it, he just said “I don’t know.” I told him that’s not an acceptable answer, especially for a $4 oyster. He took it away and came back holding another oyster in his bare hand (not even on a plate), saying it was a different kind. It was still clearly not fresh.
When I tried to explain again, the waiter actually told me to stop talking – not once, but twice. I was shocked. I had paid over $300 for this meal, and I was being told to be quiet just for raising a valid concern. It felt incredibly disrespectful and humiliating.
Throughout the entire meal, there was basically no service. No one cleared our plates. No one refilled drinks until my glass had been empty for a while. The level of service was honestly worse than a buffet.
The only positive thing I can mention is that the manager came over and listened to us. He tried to comfort us, which we appreciated – but the damage was done. The food quality was inconsistent, and the service was just unacceptable.
This restaurant charges premium prices, but delivers low-quality food and shocking customer service. The environment might look nice, but behind the surface is a place that does not value its customers.
I would never return here, and I strongly warn others to think twice. No one deserves to be treated this way. It’s been a day since this experience, and we are still upset. I hope this review protects others from going through...
