We had dinner here last night. The food was very good high quality mexican food. Very tasty, no Montezuma's revenge afterward. Exactly what we were looking for. 5 stars. 2 adults & 2 kids. We got 2 orders of fajitas for one and there was enough food for everyone. Fajitas for one is definitely enough food for 2 people. At least it was for us. A couple things kept me from giving 5 stars. First, despite them only being 35-40% full when we arrived, they seated us at a table where someone previously had spilled soda or something. It was visibly still there on the floor on the one side of the table and the floor was sticky. Whatever was spilled was also all over one of the chairs at our table. We just didn't use the chair so it wasn't a huge deal, but we got seated at an area that was a little less clean than we would expect and prefer. They seated us immediately and the table had an excellent view, just not sure why we got put there with many other options available. It should have been cleaned better prior to our arrival. Second, we came planning to get some margaritas. They apparently don't make or sell margs. Just cans of bud light lime-a-rita. That is what we were told. They definitely sold beer, but i didn't see any liquor. So not perfect overall, but still a good experience at a good price and i would...

Dreamers. Literally and figuratively as this place leaves much to be desired but el soñador means dreams. They're dreaming because if I'm going to eat frozen food heated up I'll do it from the comfort of my home. The salsa is bland and watered down. No hot sauces on the tables to help the salsa. The dish we ordered was a semblance of a mixed grill but besides the paper thin steak and one chunk of pork the rest all resembled breaded fish sticks but only one actually was fish; the serving dish took up 90% of the table making for an uncomfortable dining experience. The street corn appetizer came with one ear of corn; an appetizer usually serves the table not one person. The octopus appetizer came with two pieces too. This is a money grab it seems. Our waitress told me the equal at our table was all they had for sweetner and the only time anyone there looked alive was when their puffy chair found my dad falling out of it and a male came out of nowhere helping my dad. Save your money, No Way Joses or Azul deserves your visit more. Oh and don't bother telling them that the elevator doesn't work, they do not care as judging from other reviews it's been that way for months. Horrible experience. The 2 stars for atmosphere that I gave is because the location but...

🤢🤮 This is not authentic Mexican food! You've been warned. You people who rated this place above a 1 need to eat your thumbs! You A-Holes dupped me into believing this might be ok! LIARS! YOU PEOPLE ARE LIARS! WITH NO CONCEPT OF GOOD MEXICAN FOOD! NOBODY CARES ABOUT A PHOTO DORK! YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED! The chicken comes from a can, the drinks are terrible, the beer is warm, the staff is not so good, no liquor license. You are way better off going somewhere else. We had the chips and salsa, so so, ordered a couple of drinks which were terrible, quesadillas came out... I immediately tasted canned chicken! The drinks were not good but the water was ok. I can't believe they served me this stuff, not food, and wanted money. We had to settle with the manager for a much lower price since we couldn't eat or drink hardly anything from this place. It was not clean, the bathrooms needed work and cleaning the building was not too good and there layout and storage of items was in disarray. I could not find a single Mexican in the whole place even after I started speaking Spanish. This staff is from everywhere else. Mexican people would not do this to food or drinks, they have deep pride with their food and drinks, culture. This...

Excellent experience. Terrific view out the giant windows of the town below. Being what I call myself a "Mexican cuisine connoisseur" I was pleased to see that this is not just another "tex mex" place trying to appeal to the masses. I started off by trying to order a margarita only to be told they still did not have the popper liquor license to make this happen. The waiter suggested one of their on tap beers instead. Without even asking how big or expensive they were he proceeded to bring me a monster draft beer, in a frosted glass, that was only six dollars. We were off to a great start! Next up was a queso that wasn't the most flavorful but was the correct consistency and went well with the meal. Then came the Carnitas. Perfectly cooked and correctly flavored for an authentic experience. Salsa bar was included and featured several "sauce like" salsas of different flavors, heats, and ingredients. Alone they were not much of a standout but when combined with other items like the queso and Carnitas...oh wow! Finish it off with one of the best fried ice creams I have had in a long time and it made me want to come back the next day. See you again later this year!

This is a no-frills standard Mexican restaurant towards the outskirts of downtown Gatlinburg. We came for dinner and while the food was not amazing, we were pleasantly surprised. The food and alcohol were decent and reasonably priced for the area and portions. I enjoyed that they offered highly customizable combination plates for $15, so I was able to order a tamale, taco, enchilada, and chile relleno without the typically requisite rice and beans. I could have done without the taco and the enchilada was just average, but the tamale and chile relleno were very good. The rojo sauce on top seemed to be house made and not canned. As expected, the meal came with free chips and salsa. Mexican beers were affordable at $5 a bottle, but be aware that they don't have a full bar. For that reason, you can't get the usual margarita or paloma, but they do have canned margaritas if that's your thing. Finally, the service was exceptional and attentive and the restaurant clean. While it didn't blow my socks off, this place is a great option in an area bloated with subpar and overpriced touristy restaurants.
