When my bacon rancher burger arrived, it was missing the 6 strips of bacon that make it a bacon burger, not to mention it's $5 more because of all the bacon. I mentioned it to the person who delivered the food to the table and he said he'd get some bacon. It turned out that that was actually the manager we were speaking with. No problem. I waited and waited and waited, not eating my burger because it was supposed to just take a minute to grab the bacon. After 10 minutes our waitress stopped by to see how everything was tasting and I mentioned that we were waiting for the bacon. She said she'd ask her manager to bring it. 10 more minutes passed. Now the burger was cold. I flagged someone down who said she'd grab the bacon. Finally, she came back with the bacon. I asked for a new burger since it was cold and she said she'd bring a new one. After all of that time, probably close to 25 or 30 minutes, the manager who originally said he'd bring the bacon, dropped off a second plate of bacon. I told him that I was hoping to get a warm burger. 20 more minutes passed and by this time everyone at our table was done and had packed their leftovers in boxes and the second burger arrived, this time with bacon. It was great. Delicious. The manager stopped by to tell us that he had comped the first burger and had taken 50% off the second burger. Really? After waiting for an hour watching my whole family eat without me, he was charging 50% for the burger? I told him my mind was blown. Any manager in any restaurant knows that you should comp an item when it's been botched so badly. That leaves guests feeling good and keeps people coming back. I would have expected Chili's to train their...
Read moreChili’s is Chili’s, we all know what to expect. The food is subpar, but it’s a decent, neutral spot for dinner. However, the service at this location was shockingly bad!
We were seated in the empty section of the restaurant, and our server, Michael, was rude from the very start. He seemed visibly annoyed when we asked about happy hour and, instead of sharing the new drink options, simply said, “You can move to the bar if you want,” neglecting to mention that happy hour would end in 10 minutes.
When it came time to order, he approached us several times in a rush, asking if we needed “5 or 10 more minutes” to decide, all while displaying an apparent attitude—even though we were one of only three tables he was serving.
We also had a few questions about menu items, which is standard when dining out. Unfortunately, Michael responded with sarcasm and passive aggression, making us feel uncomfortable.
After our food arrived, his attitude seemed to improve, so I decided not to mention that I found a small piece of clear plastic in my molten lava cake. However, as we were leaving, we thanked him and were met with a cold, dirty look. He didn’t offer a simple “good night” or even a smile, leaving a bitter final impression.
While I don’t expect five-star service from Chili’s, this experience was completely uncalled for. We were polite and respectful the entire time, and in return, we received rude, dismissive service. Maybe this is why Michael was serving the empty section of the restaurant instead of the half that was...
Read moreI recently dined at Chilis, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the service was going to be subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and unorganized, leaving me waiting for an unreasonable amount of time before even acknowledging my presence. Then when I was waiting for my table they had to clean it once cleaned we got brought to a table someone was already sitting
Once seated, the problems only continued. The waiter was rude and inattentive, making me feel completely disrespected as a customer. My order was incorrect, and when I tried to address it, I was met with indifference and shrugged shoulders.
It was my girlfriends birthday and all she wanted was a marg and a burger and all she got was treated bad she asked about the happy hour and then laddie with the pink hair said we couldn't have happy hour since we were not sitting in the designated spot witch was not our fault and tried to ask us to move to the bar even tho we waited awhile and it wasn't even busy
Overall, I left chilis feeling not only disappointed but also disrespected. It's truly a shame because I know chilis is better then that I would of ordered more food and drinks but had to cut our time there since how uncomfortable it was plus didn't get a single napkin and had to use buger wrapping to...
