Went to this location tonight- sat in the drive thru unmoving for fifteen minutes. Figured inside may be faster so I parked and went inside: when I walked in there was one person ahead of me in line- a woman standing at the counter looking concerned. She looked at me and said “be prepared” with a empathetic look on her face. She said she had placed a mobile pickup order AN HOUR prior to this, and had come in to pick it up, and only half the order had been made. When she spoke with one of the employees about it she was told “oh a manager handles online orders”, and the girl walked off, and never spoke to her again, leaving her standing at the counter. Meanwhile there are FOUR employees standing in the back handling the drive thru and making orders- I am unsure if this is how the policy tells them to operate, but unsure why it takes four people to handle that when no one was at the counter addressing customers walking in. At one point there were four other people behind me in line. At no point did any of the employees come over and 1) take an order, or 2) say “hey we are just very backed up right now, we will be able to help you in just a few minutes”. However, the two young women working made plenty of time to dance, and loudly laugh and mess around. One even had the time to lean against the counter and watch what was happening in the drive thru. They never made an attempt to greet anyone at the counter or tell them it would be a moment, tho they made direct eye contact with me several times (honestly, wildly rude). However, one employee made the time to come up front and lock the doors, tho it was only 8:40 and the store isn’t closed until 9:00. I assume this was because several more cars pulled in and parked- and, yes, those people tried to come up and enter the store. Several of the people waiting in line behind me became frustrated after about 20 mins of waiting and not being acknowledged, so they went to leave. However they couldn’t because the doors were locked (also a fire code violation). The same female employee came up to unlock the door, yet couldn’t FIGURE OUT HOW TO UNLOCK IT. Oh, but she made sure to lock it again once she got it unlocked and the customers left. You know, don’t want anyone else coming inside the store since we cannot seem to help the customers we already have inside and FOUR of us are working. A male employee came up to the front of the store and wandered from customer to customer asking if they were picking up a DoorDash order. At this point the woman who has been waiting an HOUR for her mobile order placed half hour before she got to the store asked the employee what was going on with her order (as no one had said anything to her) and he said “oh we will do it next”. NEXT?! She placed that order well over an hour ago and came in, it should have been done right to begin with and when it wasn’t it should have been addressed immediately. Myself and another customer who STOOD THERE FOR HALF AN HOUR without being acknowledged went to leave- but, alas, couldn’t because the door was once again, locked. Gee, that finally gets their attention as some girl finally speaks to me and says “oh, do you need to leave?”. So we will acknowledge people when it won’t result in actually having to do any kind of work?
I rarely write reviews, nor complain- I get customer service is hard, business’ are understaffed, emergencies happen, mistakes happen, Friday nights in food service can be total anarchy at times. I honestly wish I could at least leave one kind or positive thing in this review to show it’s not all that bad, and maybe they were just having a bad night. But, to walk into a business and patiently stand there to never be acknowledged, and to watch another customer who did spend money be treated so poorly, was extremely aggravating. Judging by the fact they had plenty of time to laugh, dance and mess around, and hold side conversations with each other, alongside the fact they didn’t make a single attempt to help anyone in the lobby, I think this is more a lack of intelligence/work...
Read morefirst time i went through drive through got a watery runny blizzard. the staff was verry rude when i asked them to remake it. then the guy at drive through threw a pissy fit about paying with a credit card telling us oh this is gonna take a lot of time to process, then storms off. returns 5 minuts later with another blizzard which he immediately tries to put a lid on to which i say to him blizzards are suppose to be served with a spoon upside down to prove they are not runny. he looked at me like he wanted to kill me and yet again hands me another runny blizzard at which point i am fed up i just grab the blizzard and don't even eat it as its more of a cup of runny slime that im not even sure jerk in the drive through didn't spit in. so i wasted money ultimately and threw the thing away as was so appalled by the staff and service and product. Flash forward a year my fiance says she wants dairy queen. she was there the first time also and saw the previous mess. so i reluctantly take her to dairy queen once again in the drive through this time so upset about last time i order nothing. she places her order and low and behold a full year later we get to the window and its the same jerkoff from the first visit. once again very rude about us paying with credit card and then proceeds to take about 10 minutes to make her shake. then returns to the window with soaking wet hands and proceeds to hand me back my credit card soaking wet and dirty with unknown stuff all over dripping water all over my hands and arms. then shoves the shake in my face and slams the drive through window shut without saying anything else. im so glad this particular time i hadn't ordered anything. Seriously how in the F$%%k is this ass clown still working there. how is he not fired yet . worst service in history iv ever received and that's saying a lot because iv had a lot of bad service but this place tops them all. Just wow. feel like having a nice cold blizzard made just right with friendly service? well you will get non...
Read moreI visited this Dairy Queen a while ago and was greeted with rude and snarky employees who seemed to hate their jobs and wanted to get out of there. After a while I gave this place another shot because I was in the mood for a Blizzard. Boy was I wrong. Once again, I was greeted with rude employees who seemed to be mad at everything in the world, then one younger lady gave me my blizzard without turning it upside down, because it was already half melted! She knew that too, and she also gave me NO napkins either. While she handed me my blizzard, she just said "Here you go" and turned around and did something else. I didn't realize it was already half melted until I was driving away, ice cream got everywhere in my car without a way to quickly clean it up. Thanks. Wish I could...
