Mama's Pierogi — Restaurant in Glenwood Springs

We stumbled upon Mama Pierogis while looking for dinner in Glenwood Springs on a busy Friday night after a day of ski and soak- and wow, I’d give this place six stars if I could. The pierogis and the sausage were literally the best in memory (must add the amazing caramelized onions and sour cream). My picky five year old ate four of the potato and farmers cheese pierogis and said it was her new favorite food. The food truck is tucked away in a private corner with tables and we luckily got the table in warm plastic bubble dome with electric fireplace making our food truck dinner on par and beyond many restaurant dining experiences at a third the price. I think you can also get a beer at the top rated brewery adjacent to the food truck and bring it over to enjoy w meal as well....

10/10 would recommend this place if you're anywhere near Glenwood Springs. These are the best pierogi's I have ever had! So fluffy and delicious! We tried every flavor and each was amazing. The potato, cheese, and jalapeño were my favorite. They were not very spicy but had a great jalapeño flavor. Everyone in our group had a different favorite pierogi. The kraut and mushroom were so tasty and I don't even usually like mushrooms or sauerkraut.

And the owners were so incredibly sweet, they gave us 6 free pierogi! You will regret it if you miss this food truck. If I lived in Colorado I would waste so much time driving out here to eat these...

My son and I were super excited to try this food truck on our recent trip through Glenwood Springs, and I'm happy to say it met our expectations. The menu is short but has the essentials for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. I ordered the kraut & mushroom while my son got the potato cheddar jalapeño, both pan fried. The pierogis are authentic with tasty fillings and an excellent fresh texture, way better than frozen from a store. Growing up in a Polish family I know what homemade pierogis are like, and these definitely have that quality. The owners are super friendly and bring pride and hospitality to their work. We will definitely be coming...
