We decided to try another south Asian restaurant for dinner after a not so pleasant experience at lunch. The place was clean and basic, we were seated promptly. Jomsung was polite, friendly and professional. She was prompt and happy, was pleasant to be taken care of by her! As for the food, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was DELICIOUS, adequately oiled and spiced, and flavor profile was on point. Everyone decided to eat vegetarian for the evening so we ordered: 1. Vegetable Momos - 5/5 - steamed momos were delicious and spices perfectly balanced 2. Vegetable Chow Chow Noodles - 4/5 - was tasty but felt oily 3. Vegetable Biryani - 5/5 - highlight of the night, was stunning and flavorful, the plate was wiped clean 4. Paneer Makhani - 5/5 - was creamy and tangy, paneer was soft 5. Malai Kofta - 5/5 - was soft with tones of nuts and had an earthy profile, was yum 6. Garlic Naan - 5/5 - garlic flavors was on point, complemented the entrees well 7. Chai - 5/5 - was nice and refreshing Overall we absolutely enjoyed the dinner and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for meal options in the area, definitely will visit when in the area next.

Lovely little casual restaurant owned by Nepalese. The Paneer Makhani was creamy and full of flavor, mostly tasty gravy with big blocks of fresh Paneer. The chicken spicy vindaloo at a medium heat was very tasty, definitely did not blow my head off, and thick with vegetables and super tender chicken thigh meat. Each dish also came with jasmine rice, none of this nonsense of having to order rice separately. We loved the onion kulcha as it was studded with red onion chunks that gave it crunch and onions goodness that was lent to the dishes we dipped it into. The whole wheat paratha was rich with butter and beautifully flaky. Service was prompt if casual, they'll hand you your menus and let you seat yourself. I love that, but heard a few people be very surprised by that. I heard one man ask if the pakodas were fried in their own oil or if they shared oil with other things that had wheat in them and the answer was very clear that they were fried separately. So they seem very aware of the requirements for gluten free foods.

Came here for lunch while visiting Glenwood Springs. It was fairly empty, so was seated right away. Ordered a few Mango Lassi while we looked at the menu. They had all the traditional items that all sounded good. It's always hard trying a new Indian restaurant as you don't know their level of spiciness. For appetizers, ordered Samosas, Veggie Pakodas, and Onion Bhaji. This was plenty to share while decided on the main courses. We ordered family style, so ordered Vindaloo, Saag, Tikka Masala, Chicken Chau Chau, Naan, and Chicken Tandoori. We ordered a combination of Medium and Mild Plus for the spice. The mild plus didn't have any heat while the Medium had a small amount. I would order Medium Plus or Hot next time. All the dishes came out within 15 to 20 minutes as it was made to order, so very fresh and hot. Everything was very authentic and tasted great. The serving sizes were very large and perfect for family style. Authentic food that tastes great. Will come back again when in Glenwood Springs.

Masala & Curry: Where Culinary Nightmares Come to Simmer If you're looking to experience what disappointment tastes like, look no further than Masala & Curry in Glenwood Springs. It's a big place, and I assume the size is to accommodate the echo of everyone's regrets. Let's start with the Kadai Shrimp—if you're into shrimp drowned in a sea of angry tomatoes and accompanied by vegetables that seem to have lost their way, this dish is for you. The daal soup? Bold choice to serve a daal without daal. It's like playing hide and seek with flavor—except nobody's seeking. The naan was a crispy black flag of surrender, and the rice was a confusing identity crisis between jasmine and basmati. And the dumplings? $10 for five pieces of deep-fried rubber sadness. Michelin-star prices for microwave-meal vibes. Thank almighty that there was Chaat Masala on the table which has the power to offset any culinary blunders. In short: overpriced, overcooked, and overwhelming in all the wrong ways. Bon appétit... somewhere else.

I've had a hard time deciding how to rate this place. I'll start by saying that the food was pretty good. I ordered in person and took it to go. Everything about that process was quick and easy, no complaints. But having spent the last three years living in India, my issue is more that the chana masala and onion bhaji/pakoda were nothing like what I was expecting. Again, the flavor was decent, but the bhaji/pakoda was more like onion rings and the chana masala inexplicably had a cream based sauce. The alu/aloo paratha had extremely minimal aloo (aka potato) and seemed to be made from a mix of whole wheat and besan flours, instead of just wheat. It seemed like 2 separate layers we're made with the edges smooshed together instead of a single roti with filling worked in. Of the 3 dishes, that one was the least enjoyable.
