Just moved to Greenville from up north, looking for a solid pizza place for the family that also serves a good cheese steak- this was not the place. 30 min wait time for pick up, no problem. I show up and the girl behind the counter starts walking around looking then prints a ticket and comes back says it will be five more minutes, no other info- ok. A little over five and she brings the order out which I mistakingly already paid and tipped on. While waiting I'm looking around standing at the enter and all the people behind the counter are pretty young. There's trays of uncovered dough on the counter right by the entry/cashier station with a group of young women gossiping behind the counter loud enough for me to hear all the highly interesting drama from their lives and the boys in them. There's a guy, also likely a teen overhand stabbing a bag of cheese like he's Michael Myers to open the bag. When the food comes I take it strait home, the sub is hot and a little under cooked while the pizza is completely cold. Clearly they didn't start the sub until I got there while communicating nothing to me other than another 5 minutes. My kid said the sub was gross and somehow wet, not greasy mind you, just wet. The pizza was supposed to be 18 inch but looked tiny in the box, so just for fun I measured the oblong shape on the long side at 15". After reheating the pizza Id give it a decent score and maybe even go back just because it's one of the closest places to the house it's why I gave a second star- I love pizza, we eat it every week and I'm sure at one time somebody cared and created a decent pie. With everything else mentioned, it's a safe bet I won't ever go back- hopefully I don't get sick later from the obvious lack of care for...
Read moreHey guys, if you don't know me, I'm the "former" bartender at Bertolo's. I'm writing this post with a heavy heart and I'm sad to say that I no longer hold the title as "the bartender". After 4 years of dedication and hard work I will be gracefully moving on to my next journey. The new management team has their own vision and plans for the future of Bertolo's and I truly wish them the best. Our visions on managing don't mix as well as I would have liked but, you get more with sugar.. some prefer salt. I stand by my way of mixing and treating people. With that being said, I have enjoyed my time being able to express my love for bartending while hosting all wonderful people I've had the honor to serve!! I've made amazing friends and I will never forget all the "exploding Orange juice" times we've had!! If I don't have a contact for you, you may message me if you like. I will let y'all know where I'll be as soon as I know. This Friday evening will be the first I've had off in 2 year's, maybe we can enjoy a drink together. I love you all and I promise to be in touch!!! Never goodbye, always later!!! I look forward to it!! XOXO Add on;;; To all of my "friends" that I hooked up with gifts, clothes, jewelry, birthday cakes, Christmas gifts, rides to work and even a puppy!!! If I'm not present to defend myself, please be mature enough to keep my name out of your mouth!! I was nothing but good to everyone I worked with!! I'm a giver not a taker, I'm a leader not a follower!!! None of you can say that I didn't spoil you in one way or another!! If anyone has a problem with me, send back the gifts!! I'll pass them on to someone deserving!! For the few solid people, I'll always be...
Read moreOnly one star, because i HAD to leave a star to leave a review. I’m so disappointed by this customer service. THE OWNER called the cops on my family literally because he was so frustrated and agitated that there was a long line behind my fiancé. My small children wanted pizza i figured I’ll get Alfredo like i usually Do so we don’t have to make several stops, my fiancé goes to order it while my children and I are outside enjoying the Main Street Friday’s event. We go inside for my daughter to use the restroom and the owner is being belligerent with my fiancé because my fiancé didn’t know exactly what noodles he usually orders for me as the owner says there are three different noodles that you can order spaghetti ziti and Keppra capperoni If I am correct usually when we go in there we just order chicken Alfredo the cashier rings it in and we are going to go this time the owner had a specific problem with us not knowing what noodles they usually bring up I tried to tell him it wasn’t ziti I guess go with cappellini my fiancé already at that Point was very frustrated with the situation with him being pulled aside from the line, been continuously asked what kind of noodles he tried to tell him the owner was not having it he called the police to tell us we were not allowed there tonight. That is ABSOLUTELY the WORSE service we have EVER had they will NEVER get our service again. It’s usually good food, last time we ordered my chicken Alfredo was so dry like no sauce was on it i figured I’d try it again, and then this the customer service we get; I’m sooooo disappointed!! NEVER SUPPORTING A RESTAURANT THAT DOESNT VALUE THEIR...
