Edit: This is the last time I’ll be editing or responding to this review.
I didn’t “scurry off” I was sitting outside and I took one order and left the additional order that was a duplicate on the counter with you. Of course I’m going to eat the order I paid for. I was charged for both and left one, so please don’t try to make it seem like I took something that wasn’t paid for. And yes, reviews are for service, food and atmosphere. Thats why they give those options. If the app had an issue (like I explained several times) then I get that’s out of your control but how you respond afterwards speaks a lot about your business. There isn’t any reason or need to respond disrespectfully to feedback especially when I was not at all disrespectful in my original review. I 100% support small businesses but that doesn’t mean not being honest about my experience when you responded in such a way to someone giving honest feedback. If you don’t want negative reviews then you should treat your customers better.
Review: I had originally left a positive review even after my experience but after this response to my review and opinion (especially when I was being respectful and not even bashing this place, simply saying it would be nice if they could find a better solution in the future) I will not be supporting this business anymore. I told the owner that there was a duplicate order because there was an issue in the app (it had said it didn’t meet the minimum requirement and the order wasn’t placed) and I was charged for both. I was told to reach out to the company, which I did try to do but it said the only option was to reach out to the restaurant. I went back inside and explained this to the owner. He said he wasn’t sure as he didn’t know how the app worked but that the employee up front could help me. The employee I spoke to said the only option would be to refund some of the amount for the duplicate order because the app charged them a fee (basically I wouldn’t be refunded 20% of what I paid for that order) because the restaurant would lose money. The employee just kept repeating that was the only solution they could offer. There wasn’t really any other possible response I could give besides just accepting the partial refund or no refund at all. Lastly, it’s not about the money or amount but that I feel this shouldn’t be the only solution for people if this happens and they should consider looking into other possible solutions in case this happens again in the future. I also just don’t agree with the way the owner followed up and handled the...

This family-style pizzeria tackles an impressive lineup: Detroit, Italian, Chicago, and New York (maybe) giving diners a chance to sample a little bit of everything. It’s an exciting concept, but the overall experience feels like it’s still finding its footing.
First off, space is an issue. If you’re coming with a group, prepare to squeeze in. The staff was kind enough to rearrange tables for us, but even then, we were elbow-to-elbow. 4 people max. A loud kitchen fan made conversations feel more like shouting matches, and a staff member was vaping indoors. Let’s just say it didn’t add to the charm. The overly attentive server who seemed ready to snatch plates mid-bite was a distraction for our family gathering, but I know a lot of people enjoy a hovering server so you decide. His comedy style can sometimes come off the wrong way and be a little pushy, no hate, this is just how some of my family members felt.
Now, onto the food. The fried mozzarella was a winner, served with a marinara sauce that hit all the right notes: rich, savory, and refreshingly not too sweet like a bar would have. But the salads? A bit of a letdown. Both the Caesar and caprese lacked a punch or layers of flavor but both tasted fresh and had a perfect amount of dressing. The deep-dish pizza, while flavorful in terms of sauce and crust, didn’t have the hearty, towering structure you’d expect from a Chicago pie. It seemed flat and missed the stretched molten cheese that stays warm for the duration of the meal. The margherita pizza’s crust and sauce were also spot-on, but the cheese fell flat with a lack of salt—it could definitely use a flavor boost. (Maybe it’s just me and my family’s preferences and it could be a different part of the pie, but I needed to add some salt and parm) As for the calzone, a surprise ricotta filling wasn’t what we ordered, but maybe it was just a miscommunication on our end. It also had a disproportionate amount of cheese and pepperoni missing out on the cheesy interior. There are options for with and without ricotta so just make sure you’re direct. One last thing to be aware of, they only have bottled water and drinks.
Despite the hiccups, there’s a lot of promise here. The crust and sauce alone are reason enough to give this place another shot. With some tweaks and consistency in the kitchen, this could become a real gem. For now, it’s worth a visit if you’re feeling adventurous—or just really hungry—but manage expectations. You might just discover your next...
Read moreI ordered online around 4:15pm on a Saturday so it wasn't "peak" time, but the place was still packed when I got there so they're doing really well! I chose a pickup time an hour out to give them plenty of time to have the food ready to go. I ordered a bit of everything, Detroit style, 2 neopalitan, and an appetizer. One of my pizzas was supposed to have pepperoni on all of it and then several other meats on one side. Somewhat of a complicated order. I've lived in Greenville my entire life. I've tried virtually every pizza in the upstate. This is some of the best in town, if not the best. Sauce is crazy good, cheese is fresh, tons of great toppings and also the Detroit style pizza is excellent. My experience there wasn't great, though. Even though I gave them an hour, the food wasn't ready. I waited 20 more minutes for the food. When I got home, the pizza that was supposed to have pepperoni on all of it didn't, it was only on half with the rest of the meats, which left me with two disappointed children. The guy that helped me at the counter was also waiting every table as well, and he was doing a great job... but he wasn't wearing a mask. Look I'm not extreme on this but in a crowded space with lots of people, it's pretty important to have that gaiter pulled over your face. Of the three guys in the kitchen, one of them was also not wearing face covering (not as big a deal to me because they weren't dealing directly with customers). The food was good enough that I'll give it another shot. If it's better, I won't hesitate to...
