Panda Express — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

I mean, it's fast food Chinese. With that said, this was a great panda express experience. The food was fresh, vegetables were fresh, and each entrée I got was fresh.

They did a solid job on the entrées.

The service was quick, friendly, and efficient.

This was a very busy location. Behind me were about 8 to 10 people waiting to select their entrées.

Plus they also or offer drive-through and online ordering.

Because this location is so busy during lunchtime I'm assuming that the entrées are changed out quite frequently. I saw the cooks cooking up a storm in the back. Which is great!

The portions are quite large for the price. For two we paid about $15. Each of us got a two choice entrée which came with a starch.

The items that I chose were quite healthy and were very tasty. I had the chicken and string beans, the chicken and mushroom with zucchini, and the sautéed vegetables as my side. I really like that they did not have too many carrots in their veggie mix. I'm not a big fan of cooked carrots.

Good solid food. I still think that they have some MSG in their products, but they just don't add it in while cooking it. Some of the foods are prepared prior to arrival at the panda express locations and so they can advertise no 'added' MSG. I'm not 100% positive about this but it seems like all their entrées have a trace...

The one time we ate at this location our food was overly spicy. After eating it and being dissatisfied with it, we called in to inquire about it. They had apparently over spiced the food and offered us a free meal the next time we came in within a certain period of time. A couple of weeks later we decided to take advantage of that and went in to get our food. We were able to get the deal and the food quality that time around tasted great so no complaints there. However, we did notice the behavior of the manager towards his employees. Not sure if it was the manager or the assistant manager but he was very condescending to his employees and talked down to them on several occasions. Walked around with his nose down at his fellow employees. Came across as the type of guy that has a strong ego about his positon that he only obtained most likely because of years of experience and the general manager had no other choices due to the employee issues that have been dealt with lately in every workplace. We found his behavior highly unprofessional and will not support this restaurant in the future. Will plan on going to the other location in Ammon that we have always had great...

I came through the drive through around 1:30-2:00 in the afternoon of the 24th of December and the rudest young lady took my order. I've ordered from panda express a million times. I always get the same thing which is the bowl with fried rice and orange chicken. I say it in that exact order so they know what I want and so they don't have to ask a bunch of questions. I got interrupted in 3 different times trying giving my very short order when she should have just listened. I've never been treated this badly at a panda express. Just listening would have saved her time but I could tell she got off on being rude to her customers by interrupting. Me: I would like a bowl with fried..." (interrupted by her) "OK..... a bowl, what would you like in it?" Me; I'd like fried rice with orange... (interrupted by her again) "fried rice. OK. with what else?" (interrupted for a 3rd time) "orange chicken and can I get a cup of" (interrupted AGAIN) "and what would you like to drink?" "Water and that will..." (her having the balls to interrupt me again) "OK will that be it?" (You bet! Ill be going to the store other panda express from now...
