Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

I have given this location several chances to prove me wrong but they offer terrible service. Most recently, I was in on Sunday and two employees passed me as I walked in and headed to the play land area. The one guy sat on his phone while the other guy washed tables. There was nobody else at the front counter but I could hear and sometimes see another guy and a girl behind the counter. I stood and waited for a good 5 minutes and nobody helped me. I jingled my keys on the counter try to attract anyone's attention. It was right after 5pm and I was starving. Finally, I went and used the restroom and coughed and made noise on my way back and still nobody acknowledged me. I watched the one guy on his phone for awhile thinking maybe he would come help me. He started talking to his friend cleaning tables and dropped some F bombs, paused to look at me and then kept talking to his buddy washing tables. I left after a few minutes still waiting where I knew he could see me. In the past I have at least gotten help, but was given the wrong food, they charged my card the wrong amount and had to re-run it 3 times on another occasion. They need to hire some employees that care and aren't being paid to be on their phones and swear in front of people. If that guy was on break he is still wearing his uniform and representing for the restaurant and he could have at least gotten anyone else to help me. ...

We went here to get some ice cream cones for the family. We wanted chocolate, but we're told that they didn't have any chocolate because they were out unapologetically. So we ordered vanilla. We were second in line in the drive-thru on 4-8-24. We were disappointed to start with about not being able to get what we wanted, but then we sat and waited ... and waited.... and waited for the vehicle in front of us to get their food. I trucked out VERY SLOWLY, so slowly that if they got their fries first, they were well on their way to being cold by the time the rest of the food came. How long did that take, you might ask? Well, we don't know because after 10 to 12 minutes of waiting, we gave up and went to the Artic Circle in Shelley. The way it was going, we probably got our ice cream cones faster, making the drive than sitting, waiting in the drive-thru. Shelley makes bigger cones also. When we come to this one because it's closer, the cones are always smaller than the ones we can get in Shelley.

This isn't the first time we've had a wait at this store, but this was extra long.

Generally, we aren't so picky and impatient that we wouldn't wait, but this was ridiculous...

Hopefully, it was just a bad day for them. We just didn't need to share in their bad day. There are just too many choices out there to have to put...

We went through the drive through here to buy some food and had an awful experience. I ordered a hot dog combo and then I ask them for an additional hotdog without the meal. After ordering the combo I said “and can we just add another hotdog by itself on top of all that”. They took my figure of speech seriously and quite literally placed a second hotdog inside the bun of the first hotdog that was already filled. When I said “on top of all that” I did mean that literally. We were waiting at the window for 8 minutes only to be presented with this monstrosity of a hotdog. The lady didn’t ask for clarification on the order until after she had already handed it to us, and we didn’t want the people behind us waiting longer then they already had been so we just left. Once we got home I realized that they charged us the price of an additional hotdog like we had ordered, yet we got less food out of it all because there were 2 hotdogs but only 1 bun and 1 set of toppings. We really should have stayed to get this problem fixed and had our food remade to match the price they charged us, but it had been a long day and I didn’t want to argue with those employees anymore.
