Oh my lanta. I've been wanting to try this place for almost two years now and FINALLY I have!! I wish I hadn't waited so long, it's just so far way though from where we normally dine. But the husband and I made it a lunch spot date today and we are both so glad we did! For starters to share we ordered the every night salad and we loved it! It was a big salad, so enough to share. We ordered the honey badger pizza, it was pretty yummy. Definitely has that sweet note at the end with the honey, we enjoyed it. We both agreed it wouldn't be one we'd order every time. It was a fun one to try though. My favorite was the crispy pepperoni (drool worthy). That tomato marinara sauce they make from organic tomatoes, chefs kiss. It's so so good! My husband thought the pepperonis were a little strong but I kindly disagreed with him lol if you get anything from this review, please don't be like me and go try this place ASAP!!! Updated: 2/23/23 Came back to say we’ve been a couple more times and it still rocks. Great service, never gone without water on the table as they are always refilling. Tried their Margherita pizza and we agreed that was the best out of the 3 we’ve tried. Also have had their kale Caesar and wylder chopped salad. Of course kale being bitter, it was a great salad I thought but the picky husband didn’t care for kale. We both loved their chopped salad though! Very very good. Love this place and so excited to hear they are coming to Meridian!!

Went here for lunch after hearing great things, but was completely disappointed. There were a few larger families that appeared to be finishing there lunch, but certainly wasn't "hopping" on a friday night kinda feel. The wait staff was slow, we were never checked-up on by our waitress, and it took the food forever to come out. I watched as the staff wondered around trying to look busy without actually doing anything. Walking plates and silverware back and forth from the kitchen to the island in the center of the room. I watched as they folded napkins rather then making sure our drinks were filled. I watch staff members take empty or partially drank water bottles from tables they cleared off to the island, then take them to the bar to be refilled. Ours had floating yuck in it. After waiting an hour for a sandwich and a pizza, we were about to call our order off, pay for drinks and leave when it finally arrived. I opted for a salad that was drenched and I do mean drenched in oil. I ordered the "Godmother" salami/pepperoni/provolone/pickled fresno chili/pickled red onion/oregano vin. It was all lettuce and bread. the pickled onion had no pop, and the fresno chili didn't exist. For 14 dollars I would have expected more. My guest ordered the honey badger pizza. The crust was uneven in thickness and uneven in cooking because of it. The center was raw and the thinner areas overly cooked. It was dry. The waitress dropped off the bill, didn't say a word to us, we paid and left unsatisfied. What was most surprising was the wait, most people if lucky have an hour lunch break, I couldn't imagine trying to race back to work with my food in hand because I had no time to eat it.

Walking up to the building, it was very nice and clean, which I love. It is modern and very inviting. From a nice covered outdoor dining area to a spacious indoor area with nice music. As we walked in we were greeted nicely and taken to our table with out a wait. We had our drinks and order taken and it took about 15 minutes to get our food which wasn’t too bad considering the amount we ordered! Haha We had an enjoyable meal and a good time. So here’s my opinion of the food, pricing, and general visit. Pros: the environment was very nice. It’s definitely a place I would go to enjoy a nice time with friends. The waitresses were very kind, attentive, and accommodating. The building was very clean, too! I ordered some wings and pizza and they tasted great! Cons: parking is a little interesting, had to park in a dirt lot since my large truck wouldn’t fit on the side of the road comfortably (there also wasn’t much street parking to begin with). Pricing is not great. $17 for my pizza was a bit too much. It was a good pizza but not worth that much. Overall, I would probably come back if it were for a social event but I would likely not be back by my own choice mostly because of the pricing. But I am glad I came to try this place. Definitely worth coming at least once to give it a try.

You really can’t get much better than The Wylder. If you can wait the hour to get in, it’s so worth it so come hungry and order everything! (Portions are huge so maybe not everything) The entire restaurant is incredibly romantic/intimate while still packing in a crowd. The candlelit table sets the tone for a great evening. We started by ordering two of their specialty cocktails and you’re really getting all the flavors as promised by the drink description. For appetizers we order the mushroom toast and the wings. Holy cow, hands down the mushroom toast was so flavorful and the wings were spicy and delicious. We accidentally ordered two pizzas instead of half and half, totally our bad. On top of two very large pizzas, we ordered their famous lasagna and if there’s only one thing that brought down this place it might have been the lasagna.. sorry! It was just a little plain. And for dessert, we ordered the ice cream cake and the butterscotch dessert. Both were phenomenal, the butterscotch is a must try though! All in all, this place is worth the time and money you’re about to spend here! It does not disappoint!

Wow. Stopped in Boise this weekend and one of our stops on the food tour was to try The Wylder… WOW! It was amazing. Really such a good spot. I wish we had one close to home. First things first: the food. It was fresh and very delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad and it was very different from a traditional Caesar salad but it was amazing. We opted not to include the kale… it was excellent. We ordered the wings for an appetizer. And I have to say they were my favorite part. The pizza was also very yummy. Fresh sourdough crust… I feel it love and it came out HOT… the only way to have pizza. Such good flavors. Man I definitely fell in love with this place and I will be coming back ANYTIME I’m in Boise. The service was great! Nicole was our server and she took great care of us! We felt welcomed and cared about the entire meal and not rushed out the door. We sat outside and loved that part of it because it is noisy inside. But the weather was great so we elected to sit outside and I’m so glad we did. Such a peaceful evening, coupled with the best food! I love this place!!!

Outstanding menu! Per other reviews, we ordered the honey badger pizza. We are usually not fans of white sauce based pizza but this was AMAZING. The spicy honey and caramelized onions added a sweetness that paired so well with the globs of mozzarella plus the crust was perfectly dough-ey on the inside and crispy on the outside. I would also recommend the Brussels sprouts. Super crispy and flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was the only thing that we didn’t love. The insides were good but the bread was so tough and chewy it made it really challenging to eat so we eventually just ate the insides instead of putting up a fight with the bread. I was surprised the side offered with the sandwich was a salad or chips which seemed to be bagged, when everything else on the menu was homeade, so that’s the only reason for the knock on a star. Drinks were great!
