Thank You Huse Group for a place with style and class in suburbia! Well appointed and understated decor leave guests with a feeling of class and sophistication. Charm describes the ambiance of the 1933 Lounge. If you didn't know this place just opened not even two weeks ago you would imagine it was a well established, polished veteren. That feeling was evident in every aspect of the visit. From the warmth and professionalism at the front door to the well crafted cocktails and cool vibe at the bar to the expert knowledge and efficiency of the wait staff to the culinary experience. Every part of the meal was seemless. The 1902 Sushi Roll was the best sushi I have had in the Indianapolis area. The rice was perfect, the tuna was sliced expertly and the roll was fresh. The ample Caesar salad was well dressed and garnished with anchovies filets upon request. The Long Island Steak Salad is nothing short of a delicious work of art. The entrees were well constructed. The Faroe Island salmon was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The filet was melt in your mouth delicious. A choice of side dish accompanies the main. Try the roasted cauliflower, it is sublime! To finish a smooth Espresso Martini and slice of ethereal Chocolate Mousse Pie will leave you anticipating your next visit. Make your reservation now, I have a feeling they will be harder to get by...

If you're looking for an upscale, speakeasy-style experience, 1933 Lounge is a must-visit. Located above St. Elmo’s Steakhouse, this elegant establishment exudes vintage charm, transporting guests back to the Prohibition era with its refined ambiance and classic cocktails.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with dim lighting, plush seating, and a beautifully restored late 1800s Brunswick bar that adds an authentic historical touch. Whether you're stopping by for a drink or indulging in the expanded bar menu, the attention to detail and quality is evident in every aspect.

Speaking of drinks, the cocktail menu is a standout, featuring timeless classics that perfectly complement the speakeasy vibe. Each sip feels like a toast to a bygone era, crafted with precision and served with style.

No visit is complete without trying the World Famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail. Unlike your typical shrimp cocktail, this one packs a punch, delivering a sinus-clearing heat that leaves a lasting impression. Pair it with the filet sliders or other small plates for a truly satisfying experience.

Opened in 2011, 1933 Lounge has established itself as a premier destination for those seeking a refined yet relaxed setting. Whether you're a history buff, a cocktail connoisseur, or simply someone who appreciates excellent food and drinks, this lounge is a hidden gem worth...

We arrived at around 4pm on Sunday for dinner. It was empty so we sat by some tables and our waitress stopped by and gave us our drink menus. We asked about their Sunday special which was an Elmo's Coke, Sliders, and Crème Brulee for $30 dollars. She mentioned that it was a special menu and did not give us copies of a menu. We went down the line and specifically ordered the special along with some Shrimp appetizers. We got our drinks and appetizers but after an hour and a half we did not get our food. We flagged down the waitress and she said that she did not put our orders in. She told us that WE misunderstood and that we, as customers, were supposed to flag her down and tell her to put our orders in even though we placed it in the beginning. We had to cancel our order so we can make it to the concert. She just gave us our check without splitting it out and left our table. She did not apologize to us at all and told all of us that we "misunderstood how things were done here." Later that night, we called the manager and he had the same attitude. He blamed us for the misunderstanding and asked us "So what do you want us to do?" All we wanted...

Nice vibe. We tried to get a drink here but I didn’t have my ID with me so we had to go somewhere else where they sold me drinks at the bar without asking for ID. (I am way past 20). We just moved from Canada so I am not used to carry my ID around when I don’t drive. Plus, every weekend when we have dinner out in restaurants nobody asked me for my ID and I do always ask for alcohol. I know is the law but I sure don’t look like 20 and I am wondering if we were eating at a table and not sitting at the bar, if they really would have cared about my ID. Well they lost some customers.

We ate lunch here on a Sunday before the Colt’s football game. I ordered the combination meal with the best delicious salmon, 3 gigantic shrimp with the famous St. Elmo’s cocktail sauce, and a small salad. I also ordered an expresso martini, which was the best I’ve ever had! My husband ordered the Wagu and filet sliders, the 3-shrimp cocktail, and salad. were impressed by how reasonable the prices were too!
