Joe's Grille — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Went to Joe's grill after work last night. Me and some friends. Right away the bartender, Hope, had an attitude with my younger co-worker. Who they kept calling a teenager and she is 22 and just graduated college with a degree in Psychology. It took them 30 minutes to get our drinks and another 30 minutes to an hour to get our food. Which they gave us the wrong food. We are sitting outside and all of the sudden the bartender Hope came out and gave us our bill and said we collectively agree that you (my younger coworker)need to pay your bill and leave. It was us and another couple outside enjoying the firepit. My co-worker tried to go in and apologize if she did anything wrong because she had no idea what was going on. My co worker is in tears and we are in the process of leaving, none of us are saying anything. And Hope is still talking smack and being very disrespectful. So finally I said something, because my friend is crying. She has not said a word the whole time and this was ALL ABOUR HER. Hope is bullying her completely based on her age. Again, kept calling her a "teenager". and "oh, I've dealt with kids like these in fishers". We are still completely baffled by this experience. This did not need to happen. Discrimination at its finest. Needless to say none of us will ever go...

My friends and I were paying customers preparing to leave outside and as I let my diesel truck warm up due to the cold when the drunken idiot of an owner trying to show off for people was being very disrespectful calling my truck a piece of junk because I have performance exhaust and he didn't like the diesel smell. He then continued to threaten me and my friends and then started stating that I made his bar stink with my p.o.s. and I needed to leave and started counting down with threats. I technically was not even parked in front of the bar but in front of another business in this plaza/strip. I am a business owner myself and would never act like that towards customers. He and the people he was trying to show off for were outside smoking when he has a designated smoking area/patio outback and just didn't like the sound of the turbo on my truck. Never again will this place get anymore of my money and better believe I will be calling as I have seen minors in there and they illegally serve alcohol after hours to random customers sometimes til the sun comes up on the weekends. I am sorry for my friends that get illegally get served at that place after hours but I will not be treated like that by...

I am a frequent visitor to Joe’s grill, but after last night, maybe no more. Me my wife and a friend were at the bar last night enjoying a drink and conversation, then a gentleman sat down and made a comment about my hat. So I responded in kind how I like this team. The gentleman was obviously inebriated started to be really rude. Come to find out, the gentleman was the owner of Joe’s grill. Not only we started to ignore him, he continued to but in our conversation and started to be very disrespectful. With the bartender apology, which is appreciated, was not good enough to maybe never change my mind about ever returning to this bar. Very disappointed in how we were treated here.
