BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Just had a terrible experience with staff and management. This is at Noon. Which is important detail. Ordered a large pizza on a Monday where they run 1/2 price special. Ordered a 5 meat pizza with extra sauce and double Pepperoni instead of meatbals. Pizza came out with multiple pieces with zero pepperoni and barely cheese and sauce at all. )My moms fries were also cold, as if they were waiting for my pizza to get done. ) Told waitress and she sarcastically said "so do you want another one?" I looked at he confused by the question and said well yes, she then says I have other tables so Im going take their orders and put yours in. So my situation was not important to her. She comes back 7-8 mins later to tell me they are out of large dough. I said, but how today is half off Large pizza special how could you be out already at noon? Looked around restaurant and maybe 8-9 tables even had customers. I asked for a manager. Another 7-8 mins passes and he comes over. I explain the situation and he offers a "sharable" for my troubles and I say well I just want what I ordered he says I cant help that, my kitchen manager is the one who didnt make the dough. I said so we are just blaming another manager? He then raised his voice and told me I have an attitude problem! I said "how do I have and attitude? I am simply stating the facts, fact is you are blaming another manager and you are the one with an attitude not me!" The manager then says "well, what do you want from me?" I say "I want a large pizza made the way I ordered it." He says and like I said I cant do that "I offered you a sharable" and I said I dont even know what a sharable is(thinking its an appetizer I dont want an appetizer) and still with his voiced raised at me and an anger on his face he says "so what do you then?!?" I said I want yo leave and he said "well leave then." So my mother and I got up and walked out. I have been here tons of times as I work in the plaza, infact I was there just 6 days earlier and had a great experience. I was a restaurant manager for 8 years, never seen anything like this! This manager needs training on customer interactions. To raise your voice at a customer and say they have an attitude for just repeating back exactly what they just said is absolutely unacceptable!

Reserved table for 7:00pm got there just in time to be seated. So no issue there. Took the server 25 min to even take our drink order and appetizer order in. Now I will say it was homecoming but they was all leaving by this time and the place was not packed at all and now I see why. We received our drinks at 7:45 and appetizer at 8:01 which was just a beer cheese pretzel. By the time it arrived it was hard and cold. No big deal just an appetizer by 8:15 he had finally came back and asked us for our order. We order the full rack of ribs dinner fries Brussel sprouts absolutely horrible and I love sirachi Brussel sprouts but these were dry and tasted like dirty lake water, fries were good ribs were very bad, cheeseburger with fries cheeseburger rare, prime rib loaded baked potato Ceasars salad. Could not even eat the prime ribs and the server said it should of never been sent out, so they said they would make another by this time it was 9:00 and all just wanted to go home. Bowling of whatever the luck in Quinoa was not bad to be honest. It's this wait time and the food. The server was very friendly and tried his best but to let us just sit like this several times is not right. We will never be back. Bill was $127.00 for 3 people, they did take off meal but that's as eat. We'll of course they would the poor guy couldn't even at it. I left a 1 star review here about 2 years ago, but it mysteriously disappeared. This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant and actually started me reviewing places. My previous review was quite lengthy, but in a nut shell, I ordered a steak, it had no specified size on the menu. I waited for a very long time. It came out and was about 4oz in size all said and dowe. It might of been 6 or 8 before cooking, but it was the smallest steak I have ever seen. It also was cooked well done. I sent it back. Ate all of my sides, waited and waited for my steak, it finally came out. Ate it. The manager offered to comp my meal, but I declined. I told him that he gave me half of a steak so I will pay half of the price. I am not a beggar and I don't complain to get free food. But this isn't just about a small steak. I sat at the bar and it wasnt busy. I was the only person at the bar for most of my stay. The bartender stood down at the end of the bar and talked to other employees almost the entire time I was there. I ordered a beer and a water. I finished my beer and finished my water and she never offered me a refill. Other staff came out and gave me my food while the bartender did nothing. I only spoke to her one time.
