Took my brother to pick up a couple smoothies from here this morning. I work customer service myself so I’m usually overly accommodating and friendly because i know how people can be.
I tipped 15% for our order, and asked a single question about my order on the way out after paying.
“Which drink is the mango?”
The guy behind the counter responds with an annoyed, “why don’t you look, and tell me which one you think it is”.
I ordered the mango, my brother kiwi. We had a white and bright red smoothie as the end result. It wasn’t visually obvious. I guessed that the red was the kiwi, which doesn’t make a lot of sense, but the guy behind the counter said that was correct.
Neither of our drinks tasted like Kiwi or Mango. We were the only customers at the store and there was no rush. Even if they were the correct flavors the rudeness was unprovoked and unwarranted.
But I’m guessing they gave us two random drinks thinking we were too dumb to notice, and the representative felt threatened when I asked which drink was wish because he thought I was calling him. At least that’s the assumption I made after my brother and I walked out confused about the abrupt rudeness.
I’m guessing he thought we would ask him to remake the drinks for the correct flavors, but considering my own background in customer service I would have kept what we got and went about my workday.
The smoothies we got were bland and didn’t taste that great, but combined with the abrupt hostility and reading other comments on here, I’m probably never coming back.
$16 plus a 15% tip is a lot to spend on two simple drinks just to have the customer service rep be disrespectful towards you for asking 1 simple and meaningless question. So this was first and last time...
Read moreI was so excited when I saw they build one right by me. it was good the first few months the workers were very nice and welcoming.
went again and the first thing I hear is one of the employees laugh about how she messed up a person's order and still gave it out. Then I seefemale employees who had their hair down and not tied up in any way and no hats. From what I have looked up All Food Handlers are required to wear hair restraints that cover all exposed hair But I put that aside until we started to order, the person I was with asked what the flatbread was called with pineapple on it, and the girl with short hair rudely responded saying she does not know and they only actually have 2 flatbreads(i found out later that day they do have one with pineapple)
When the girl with short hair went to cook our food she did NOT wash her hand OR put gloves on after touching the register. We didn't complain though and grabbed our drink and food, but when we left and opened our food it looked very unappatizing and dripping in sauce and not folded like a flatbread should be folded and we were given...
Read moreWorkers are treated very badly and were never trained, all they did was “here’s the instructions get to work” and one of the managers would sleep in the back while minors ran the cafe. The employees (who were all minors) were told they would be fired over complaints online about their safety. They would say the grove city location does not offer military discount but the register has an option to give it. One day there was a large online order and a line out the door so some employees asked for someone to come in early to help but when a manager came to help she just yelled at them to work faster and they shouldn’t have made the online order, she then proceeded to yell at the DoorDasher saying he shouldn’t have made the order, but he’s only there to pick up the order.
Also bathroom does not get cleaned very well when closing!!
(10-10-22 UPDATE) Managers still treat employees very poorly and Heena is very rude!! When a very large DoorDash order came in HEENA yelled at empoyees and doordasher insted of helping to get everything...
