I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in my life. I never complain about food, but this experience was rather comical I felt the responsibility to share. To preface this tragedy, our flight back home was canceled and we searched around for a restaurant that would accept the meal vouchers delta gave us for screwing up our flight. We were desperate and hungry, and unfortunately stumbled upon this place. The server said that they would accept the vouchers so we sat down. We started with a handful of chips and marinara sauce. We ordered a side of cheese whiz which appeared to be extracted from a military issued MRE. Lunchables would have been a better starter. For the main course, the four of us ordered fajitas and carne asada. The rubbery unseasoned flesh was served to us like hounds. The rice was unsubstantial, and the bean water was tasteless and forgettable. The staff was extremely friendly, but unfortunately the meal vouchers did not work and we had to pay out of pocket. I am now writing this review with the inescapable fate that the toilet in my hotel room is about to get...
Read moreAVOID! This place is clearly kept in business by tourists who eat here once and then move on. The food was AWFUL. There’s no way locals would ever eat here twice! Our family of 6 ordered a large variety of items to go. Not only did they leave five items (including two whole entrees) off our $150 order, which we didn’t notice until we got home 15 minutes away, but the food they did give us was barely edible. Mushy meat, no flavor, overcooked fajitas, undercooked pork belly, dry chicken … literally everything was so bad. They also didn’t give us any chips or salsa with our large order.
One of our family members is Latin American -- our 16-year-old Panamanian international student — and he was appalled that this place calls themselves a Latin American restaurant. His direct quote: “This food is horrible. HORRIBLE.” He threw his meal away. (A first in his 12 months of living with us… this kid eats everything!)
We have been traveling the country for 12 days and this place wins for WORST MEAL of the entire...
Read moreWish I could give it a 0, beef was like deep-fried beef jerky. Chicken was dry and too much pepper on it. After eating the pasta my daughter felt weird in stomach. Beans were not beans, food was like it was reheated. We joke that they barely make food and just make chips, we saw everyone eating chips and waiting for the order to come. We were planning on getting the chocolate lava cake and huckleberry ice cream, but considering how long it took, and the skills of the chefs, the taste, no. We were at our hotel at 9pm, not according to the plan at all. It took an hour to arrive, they gave us lots of chips and salsa. Makes you full don't eat too much of the chips. Not good. They gave us a pitcher of ice water. Horrible to eat, the good reviews are fake, and would rather eat McDonald's, not good, and definitely not worth the price and the time. However we still tipped enough because we do understand how hard small businesses faught with Covid. We don't recommend it, not...
