To summarize my 2 star review: we got to eat one dish out of 4 that we ordered and it was delicious and the ambiance was really cool. The rest of the experience was NOT. I consider myself a foody and was really excited to come to this restaurant. They were closed Sunday/Monday so we had it on our list to come on Tuesday.. Boy where we disappointed. We got to the restaurant at 530 (when they opened) and we were sat immediately. We didn’t get our first order (noodles) until 630 PM. We spoke to another server who was a nice blonde lady and she apologized and comped us a free round of drinks. We appreciated this as we were hungry and still waiting for our food at this point.... Our server FINALLY drops our noodles an hour and 20 minutes later and said it would be another 25 minutes for the curry we ordered.... to be clear this is a two person table!!! We ordered noodles, curry, nan and broccoli. We asked to take our food to go because we had been sitting there for an hour and a half. When we FINALLY get the rest of our to go order at 645... our server didn’t even order the broccoli! We waited an hour and 45 minutes - got to eat one dish in the restaurant ( to their credit it was really good) requested the rest to go because of how long it took & then didn’t even get our full order Togo. Our server said that they were busy with to go orders..... I have worked in a restaurant as a server for over 7 years and this was the worst experience I have had. If the kitchen is prioritizing to go orders rather than taking care of their customers in the restaurant that is a problem. If our server was not communicating with the kitchen/management team - then he was just not doing his job and the management team needs to better train their staff. I only give reviews when I have a wonderful experience or a terrible experience. The ONE dish we had was good, but I wouldn’t waste my time coming back here due to the service. I hope management reads this review and looks at the way your managing your business. Cut to go orders if your kitchen is swamped and prioritize your current customers.

This was a mix bag. I would say some dishes where excellent but the failure or half of the dishes couldn’t be overlooked. Two stars are lost to the dishes missing their mark. I think the underwhelming nature of some of our dishes either stemmed from lack of understanding that cuisines dish or not being able to source authentic ingredients to produce those sauces. The green beens the ribs and the BKK noodles all shared in this problem. Hoisin is not soy sauce, Korean ribs need gochujang, and pad Thai needs fish sauce and all of the above needs heat. Don’t let people pick the heat level if your going to serve it devoid of heat. Now where the food shines is the alcohol and the curries these dishes and drinks where nuanced and has depth. The third star lost was our waitress who was dreadful. I wouldn’t naturally remove a star for a single waitress being bad if I can tell the other waitstaff around us was good because I would just reduce the tip, but the establishment auto attaches the tip to the bill. If your establishment is going to bake the Tip into the bill then make sure you train your staff so they don’t phone in the job. It sucks to get the minimum effort from someone and still give them your prescribed tip.

This is not a good place to eat, with poorly flavored food, bad service, and an overall bad experience. The Indian food has zero authentic taste. Butter curry with Chicken was LITERALLY tomato bisque soup with chicken diced into it, served with crusty stale jasmine rice. It tasted sweet, and nothing like curry. I do not think there's a single Indian spice in this. The Thai food is off, where the pad Thai street noodles were mostly a bowl of beans sprouts and a half bottle of lime juice and soggy noodles. The cocktails are also even bad, and things ordered weren't available. And to make it worse, the prices are absolutely not worth it. Things like naan were $10?! And it's just the small microwaved pieces from Costco. Not made in house. The fried rice was completely flavorless. This wouldn't have been as bad if our server even once checked in to see how things were. Instead they ignored our table entirely. Joking around with other workers. We all asked for multiple spice levels on our food, and not a single person at the 5 person table had spice, of any level. For all of their faults, I liked the green beans.

Putting in my two cents as a local-ish person, who has also lived in India & in other parts of Asia for over two years of my life. Teton tiger rocks!! Staffing is hard. Do note, Jackson is the richest county in the US- thus, housing is astronomical and it contributes to the national shortage of people to work in restaurants that we are seeing. That contributes to rent prices, leases, paying folks a working wage here, etc. It’s spendy in good part because it has to be, so please don’t leave poor reviews for that alone- as it is all influenced by these factors.

Also, this is pan/fusion Asian. They have an awesome menu with a sweet assortment. If you’re gonna dine in, plan on it taking awhile. Or, like many of us do- plan to call your order in like an hour ahead. Jackson is busy. Major influx of people here normally in the summer, especially this summer and last.

If you’re expecting a classic indian dish, it might be a bit different. But as someone familiar with most all Indian cuisine, I think the Indian curries are legit. I’m familiar. They in fact have a sweet spread of a menu with some pan Asian options, if not some fusion going on. Open your mind :) Be grateful this place is here in a tourist town with a population not much greater than 10+k that serves a ton of folks visiting.

Keep it positive. Yelp & BBB complaints have been through the roof this last year. All small businesses are struggling in some way. Just kinda wanna counter the rough reviews as a business owner who understands.

Those working here are awesome! They’re also pushed hard as nearly every place is understaffed.

Teton tiger is awesome, adjust your expectations to the reality of the moment. Open your mind to new flavor combinations and try to not be a hard-core yelper affecting this biz’s reviews with unnecessary harshness thinking only if your vacay, and not considering all the realities playing into it. (I mean, a low review for not chopping the cilantro on top- this is jackson, wy not a michelin star NY five course place). I like the whole cilantro leaf, personally.

I personally love the makhanwala with two sides of purple cabbage 🥬!! Have spent a lot of time in india, and the tikka & butter are great. Hear good things about it all :) Keep rocking, Teton Tiger!!

*If you agree, post a good review to counter the unnecessary...

When you have such a bad experience you have to write a review. Yeah that was last weekend. We reserved two separate tables as a group of ten to ease the staff at 7. Got there and neither were available, then we were all sat at one and waited 20 min to get the next table.

We then sat there and watched the wait staff take shots instead of take our drink orders for another 15 min. In that time we picked out what we wanted because we knew it was going to be one of those experiences.

When we were finally approached for our order we were told we couldn’t order everything at once but we were able to get apps and drinks in. At this point there was a significant break between rush and there were 30% of tables sat.

We put our order in with our drinks and apps delivery about 10 min later.

Then exactly 45 min later the waitress came back to tell me that they ran out of what I ordered and asked what else I wanted. She had just taken the other tables order and went to put it all in at once instead of putting in our order 45 min ago or taking theirs at the same time. The exact reason we sat separate.

Obviously complained and at this point I was furious because our second drink orders had not come out. Ordered more drinks and put in our food order. Came out 15 min later.

Then was kindly told my entree was comped. I asked for another drink to celebrate, which was never delivered.

Then we got the bill, they combined our tables and combined gratuity. The drink and the entree were on the bill.

Didn’t have the heart to complain any further. Left got beers at the cowboy and thought it was all over until we saw the waitress at the mountain the next day, hungover.

Hard pass on Teton tiger and your entire waitstaff - besides the host who was very very nice to us.

Only giving one star because the food was pretty good besides the weird Asian fusion stuff. Chef could tone it down a bit. Ascetic was on point, kinda confused by the cricket wickets but p...
