I love Noodles. I love the variety and the international flavors of their menu offerings. I love that they're not afraid to have spicy things on their menu. I love that they have Rice Krispies Treats® made fresh several times a day. I love that, for being just a level above a fast food eatery, you get real plates/bowls/eating utensils as opposed to styrofoam, cardboard, paper, and plastic. I love that there are high tops and chopsticks available. Largely, I love Noodles & Company for these reasons and more.
This location, however, has a few drawbacks keeping it below that coveted Five Star review. We've visited this location about a half dozen times and probably 50% of that time we had to wait up front to place our order because no one was visible. Food delivery times, almost reliably, are 15 minutes or more, and the restaurant -- especially the drink station -- seem like they're often left alone and treated as an afterthought. I don't think the staff in the kitchen and food prep areas is aware of just how much noise they generate, as there is often loud talking/language that can be heard, and I don't think I've been to this location when someone hasn't dropped a large metal pan/kettle/bowl.
While the staff is genuinely friendly and everyone seems to be busy doing something, it's often hard to tell exactly what their focus is with everything above going on. The food, however, is usually spot on (if a bit messy upon presentation) and I love the heat level of the Spicy Beef Korean Noodles.
Not the worst Noodles I've ever been to, but at least it's reliable in that you know what you're going to get when you walk...
Read moreI've seen this place for years and thought noodles? Noodles, is that all there is? Just noodles and joking to my friend about it. So , we'd choose another place. Well, after trying it, it's not bad. The food is good, the place is clean, the quickness of the employees, and friendly. But their working their butts off. The manager and another guy was the two that were working and both guys were fast and efficient, that I thought of the manager as a chef. Experienced! Yes he was! The waiter, clean up guy, was friendly, cashier, and helping cook and get the orders together, for the place, and to-go orders, they both were just amazing to watch and appreciate, because they were doing everything possible to make everything run smooth. I'd been sweating and wondering why the owner didn't have more employees. But I'm sure he's got that wrapped up and surely knows what he's doing. Open for 5 years! You know this Covid take over and all the extra money being paid out, it's hard to find people to work, and honestly good ones, like these two guys. They deserve a raise in itself, just watching the hustle, and everything their doing. I applaud them for the great teamwork and dedication, more than I enjoyed the food. I felt kind of like a kid and wanted more. A meal was like a light lunch, good but not enough for a hungry appetite, unless you ordered a couple of dishes. And I got the bigger of the two. A little bit high, for less food. But it's definitely good to return to, once in awhile....
Read moreI just recently had my very first experience with this restaurant and was incredibly pleased. I ordered the Japanese pan noodles with marinated steak. I also got a small side of chicken noodle soup. The noodle dish was absolutely delicious. It was LOADED with steak. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they took off the sesame seeds as I requested. It was also packed with flavor and even fairly filling despite the containers small size. The side of soup was mainly just egg noodles and a little broth, but I scarfed it down as I was hungry.
The very next day I ordered the exact same thing (but this time I ordered the chicken noodle soup in a larger size). The noodle dish had very few pieces of steak, much to my dismay, but I still dug in. They also left the sesame seeds on that I requested be removed. As I'm eating from this dish I begin spooling up a fork full of noodles and lo and behold I see a hair sticking to one of them. I immediately throw the dish in the trash because that's absolutely disgusting. I was reluctant to eat the soup then, but I swirled my spoon around and saw no more hairs. The soup, however, was mainly broth and a few egg noodles. Not worth the price.
The hair in the food thing has permanently turned me off. I definitely won't...
