UPDATE BELOW: I had grand plans to take pictures of the pumpkin cake brownie I picked up (well 2 actually); however, as I sank my fork into it....I didn't realize how moist it was until that moment....the plastic fork pierced the soft pumpkin pie layer, then the soft brownie layer with ease! First phase was a success!! As I put it in my mouth and started chewing, I then "felt" all the flavors blend together....the pumpkin pie, the brownie....my taste buds were singing in unison about how delicious this dessert was! It had the perfect amount of sweetness.....not too much.....just right! Before I knew it, I had ate both (my original plan was to save 1 for tomorrow)!! We plan on going to Ma's tomorrow for some breakfast crepes! But I end up getting some desserts to go! This time I'll snap a few pics before the tasting begins!!
Second visit: All last night I pondered over the menu trying to imagine how each crepe would taste. It was about midnight when I fell asleep. 4 something A.M. first wake up, bathroom break, thoughts of Crepes...6ish am checked the weather, thought about going for an early morning bike ride, but did some sit-ups and thought about Crepes! After patiently waiting for 9am to roll around, we strolled down the street to Ma's and we made it there at a perfect time, it wasn't crowded yet and we had the veggie crepe and the Everyday crepe. Both were delicious and tasty. The maple syrup on the Everyday crepe was a perfect addition. It was packed with eggs and sausage, plus I added bacon cause EVERYTHING is better with bacon! (hmmm, maybe in the future they'll have a crepe with double meats or all the meats and call it the Everyday Everything crepe). Once again, I was about to forget to take a pic, however I did get a pic of it halfway thru. I was getting full and my stomach said it was good but my mind said an expletive and I pushed thru! Delicious doesn't do it justice,so I'll end with these descriptives (yes I did googled synonyms for delicious)...tasty, scrumptious, delectable, titillating, enjoyable, heavenly, savory and piquant. I would keep going, but you...
Read moreThis place was so warm and welcoming. My significant other and I ate here while we waited for the train. Yes, it does take a minute for your food. If you have ten minutes before the train...don't go. We planned ahead of time so we had plenty of time to sit down and enjoy our meal.
The crepes were quite tasty. My partner and I got the apple cinnamon crepe, The st. Patrick's Day crepe (Irish cream, vanilla creme, and a green crepe), and we got the manicotti crepe as well. Apple cinnamon wasnt anything too spectacular...but Hands down the manicotti crepe was the best crepe I've ever had (we try crepe places all the time when we travel).
They were out of a few menu items.. but it was no big deal. It was mostly bubble tea related. They didn't have one of the syrups, which wasn't a big deal. You sometimes come across that at a standard boba shop.
Extremely kind employees who care about their customers. Kept asking if everything was okay, and asked questions about customers travels to get to know them. There was a customer unsatisfied with their beverage when we were there, and they quickly rectified the situation and the customer was pleased. very accommodating. The bathroom situation isn't ideal, but they were able to give us information on where to find a restroom. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely...
Read moreWent there for the first time today and out of all the cafes and little holes in the wall we visited, this was the only one we settled on. It was welcoming, music was good, aesthetic was beautiful (bright color with a wonderful flower decor along the front door) and the food was delicious! We had crepes and mine specifically tasted so fresh with the fruit that was added in. It was visually appealing as well.
We drove all the way from New Jersey (1.5 hours) and this was one of the highlights of our day. We also got to speak with the owners briefly and the entire interaction was so pleasant and cheerful. We even got to see them interact amongst themselves and it is obvious how tight knit they are which truly is a welcoming sight.
You can tell they care about their craft and their customers and would 100% visit again and recommend to anyone looking for a good place to rest, enjoy good food with an even...
