Food: excellent (salmon was perfectly cooked) Portions: sizeable and delicious Staff: friendly and attentive (my waitress was excellent, her name is Danielle) I'm definitely going to return and make this a regular stop. Bar: available if you want to socialize that way (my bartender Jocelyn was friendly and knowledgeable- I saw her help other customers reach decisions for their preferences ) Owners: High quality standards and meticulous about the cleanliness and presentation of their establishment.--notice how the outside dining has very well made zippered paneling & plenty of fans and heating for all seasons of weather( THEY ALSO WERE ABSOLUTELY AWARE OF SERVICE DOG LAWS AND I THINK IT GOES BEYOND THAT- they want all their customers, disabled veterans / disabled persons to feel like this is a place to feel safe that they will not be shamed for having a Service Dog or Service Dog in Training SDiT, like mine🇺🇸👍🏼🦴☘️) A very sincere Thank You. They attract a friendly crowd and I had a very pleasant time speaking with the table next to me about food, my dog and other topics). That is made possible by good owners and a well trained staff! Give them a try, I do NOT think you could be disappointed!!!!

My aunt came down from NJ and wanted to try this place. We went here for dinner and our waitress was great, very friendly young lady! They didn't make us sit outside, just because I had my service dog with me. They let us sit inside the air conditioning, which we wanted. The place is nice and clean. Our main meal was really good, we both got the turkey wrap. I would definitely get that again! We were disappointed in our appetizer, we ordered bruchetta and what came out was not bruchetta, it was the topping on thick untoasted bread. The topping was very good, we just wish it was the correct bread that bruchetta is usually made with that was used. We were looking forward to that crunchy, toasted, thinner bread with the yummy topping and balsamic over it. Our bread became soggy from the dressing and we ended up just eating the topping off the bread. (I didn't take a picture of our food, so I used another picture of the bruchetta to show it) Other than our appetizer, we had a great meal, a pleasant time here and we would return here again!

In general not a great experience but for a restaurant in the heart of a tourist area I guess it’s what i should expect. Service was generally good although drinks were not refilled without asking. I ordered the Molly Maguire burger for 16.95 it included fried onions peppers and bacon served with fries. The burger for the “house” burger came with no sauce and for what i paid i was expecting something more gourmet. I asked for mayo and bbq sauce to make it edible, who eats a plain burger?!? My biggest issues with management of this establishment came when we received the check, they charged $.85 for two containers of bbq sauce that i could get for free at McDonalds. I just consider that an insult paying restaurant pricing to receive an un-sauced burger to then pay for a basic condiment. Then they didn’t allow the check to be split, something else i have a problem with. I guess we should have just requested separate tables for 1 each to allow us to pay separately…as a business owner i don’t understand this. Cost of processing should be the same with one card or two, if not you should be re-examining your credit card processor. Overall not a great experience, won’t be back here.

We visit this place 6 times a year when we go on vacation. I reserved 14 guests for a reservation. We sat down. The Manager walked up to me and my mother, he spread out his arms and said “how did it go from 14 people to 2 people at the table” ?? Half of my family was in the bathroom and the other half was still walking into the door of the restaurant. I have never felt so disrespected in my life’s, half of my family was on the way to sit down at the table. This is the first time in my life where the general manager deterred me from ever visiting an establishment again. We will never be back and it’s because of the manager. Food was 10/10 … we loved it. But a horrible manager will keep us from coming back. Sorry manager, but maybe you should take a 14 person table more seriously, even if we have a lot of children at the table.

Molly Maguire's is an Irish pub in Jim Thorpe's downtown area that serves a lot of Irish-American fare. You can eat for roughly $15 a person. Compared to our other dining experiences in Jim Thorpe, this place knocked it out of the park. Our waitress was nice and attentive, food came out in roughly 20 minutes. The sheppard's pie was steaming and looked amazing. The roast beef sandwich was thin slice and stacked very thick. The fries were fresh and delicious. I recommend the Luck of the Irish cocktail while you're here. Atmosphere is nice. We sat on the deck and enjoyed a slight breeze during the early August weather. The pacing of our entire dinner was perfect. I hope to be back some day.
