Group of us ventured out to this place during the Chiefs AFC game. Was pleasantly surprised to see there were only a few people dining here. We sat at the back of the dining room. No greeting at all. Everyone’s first time here. Ordered the Ramen, fried rice, crab Rangoon, bbq pork bun, scallion cakes, edamame & spring rolls. We had the lemon tea as well. The service we received was extremely slow. Food was delivered in intervals. One of my colleagues was almost done with her ramen and had let the server know that she had ordered scallion cakes to go with her ramen. The server rudely replied “They aren’t done yet!”. These are smaller portions of ramen than I am used to. The appetizers appeared to have been frozen. Certainly not fresh. 3 tiny fried spring rolls. $4 a bbq pork bun with a very thin slice of pork $4. The scallion cakes were yummy and a good portion. Crab Rangoon… nasty no flavored premade. You’re better off skipping the appetizer's. You can get a nice burger for what I paid for the two bbq pork buns. $14 for a bowl of ramen this size is ridiculous. Overall I would not recommend this place. We were on a lunch break and thought we would have fast service. Instead our server seemed very stressed and inconvenienced. She was also handling to go orders. We were told to pay when we were done. When I went to pay I asked for a to go container and the server more or less threw it at me. The facility was clean, but there was a slight sewage smell. Customer service is not their strength. I could only imagine what would have been my experience if it were packed! My advice is to try Pokesan next door. We loved our experience when we went on Saturday. Gentleman was very helpfull & friendly… and always accommodating. Food was excellent and fresh! Even a refill on our ice tea. We went back to T-Mobil and shared our experience with our other...
Read moreI'm new in Town and love exploring new Ramen spots when I have a free day. This place has a bit more of a ho-dunk sort of vibe to it in the best sort of way.
I'll start off by saying that out of the three Ramen Places I have tried so far, this one takes the cake. The portion is decent size, the broth is really good, all the ingredients are exactly how you'd want them to be. It was Delicious. I've been to fancier places that have definitely let me down, so don't let the cover fool ya, this place is legit.
The order taker gives you a sharpie and two sheets of paper similar to a happy horror menu. You completely customize your Ramen Bowl and Boba Tea (though no boba ironically). They have a lot of options for the actual bowl as well as if you just want noodles or want some Appetizers.
I will say to the service, I recieved my pork bun and BBQ bun a bit after the actual Bowl and Boba, though not too much of a knock.
Only other negative was the parking. In the back there's paid parking, the side of the building leads you to believe you can park there, but it's a huge tow zone demarked by several printout signs once you walk into the restaurant. I ended up re-parking on the sidestreet and luckily the coin machine said it was free parking at the time.
All in all it's now...
Read moreThe first time I tried this place they totally ignored me the whole time and when they finally took my order they never gave me my drink or appetizer. The ramen was delicious but kind of felt the service was so rude and uncomfortable. Took awhile for my food to arrive when there was only two other people in the restaurant. They even tried to charge me for the appetizers and boba that I never received. I gave this place another try because like I said the ramen was good and maybe they were having a bad day, once again came on a week day there was only three people in the restaurant and again felt like I was being ignore the Lady kept making eye contact with me but continued to ignore me she finally took my order and again the food was good but had to reach out to the server for my drink and she proceeded to slam it down next to me upside down and walked away I didn’t know why she was so angry with me. and I’m trying my best not to jump to the conclusion that they treated me this way because I’m brown. The other (white) customers were served quickly and nicely but me: I was treated like a nuisance.Really hope they can work on their customer service because their seasoning is so good but the service...
