I love coming here after work to hang out with friends and eat Stan’s delicious pizza! The two pizzas I crave the most from here are the Palmer and/or the Three Little Pigs. Just get them both and eat the rest the next day.. or two, but please make sure you get an extra side of ranch. This ranch is special.. I’m not usually a “ranch” person, personally I fall more on the hot sauce side of the scale, but their ranch is super thick (apparently it is sour cream based), so it’s more like a ranch “spread” and they even have a spicy ranch version with tapatio hot sauce thrown into the mix (you know, for when I feel like I’m betraying my hot sauce heritage because I’ve been eating so much pizza with ranch). It’s just a great place, very much a local hangout. I love Fat Stan’s!

Food After leaving the lumberjack show, we set out to find a place to eat. We stepped inside and waited a few minutes for a table. At the counter, we ordered jalapeño poppers, a pepperoni pizza, a soda, and a canned mojito. Unfortunately, the jalapeños had not been cooked before being topped with mozzarella cheese and bacon, leaving them a bit too crunchy for my taste. The pizza was decent, but neither dish was compelling enough for us to return. Service We placed our order and paid at the counter. One staff member managed the order counter while another worked at the bar. However, there were no employees available to check on customers or refill drinks. Atmosphere and Location This restaurant is conveniently located just a short distance from the cruise port, right next to The Fish House and the Lumberjack Show. The space feels cramped, with supplies stacked in the walkways and tables positioned very closely together. There is not a public bathroom.

We waited over an hour for our quesadilla. Was given a number placard, displayed it front and center between me and the other person in my party. I checked with the staff at the counter to find out they were calling out a quesadilla 15-20 minutes prior. We were sitting at a very loud bar not aware that we needed to listen for staff calling out a quesadilla because we were given a number for them to look for. Not sure what the purpose of the number placard was for. $18+ plus a 4$ tip for a very small corn tortilla quesadilla. I will 100% visit the bar again but will not order food here again. Bartender was excellent.

We wanted to finally eat local while we were in Alaska and this was our chance, we were definitely happy with our choice. You know how we are, the name drew us to it, we had to try it. They had several local beers to try and a full bar that offered a drink called Duck Fart! We ordered a wings and a calzone. They were both amazing! The wings were juicy and full of flavor. The calzone was a tasty pizza and wrapped up in a crispy crust and a soft inside. The place was packed, so if you go be patient, but know, it's worth the wait. Great restaurant and atmosphere, always support local!

Pizza was good - wish I would have gotten pizza like my lunch mate did. I got the quesadilla, honestly very close to inedible. It was chips instead of a tortilla, and chunks of chicken and hard cheese. I tried to eat it with my hands (like a normal quesadilla) and failed. Gave up on that. Also ordered the jalapeño poppers, they were overloaded with cream cheese to the point that I gagged on one. Mimosa and beer was good. Staff was nice. Bathroom outside 👎

After a tiring morning of UVTs and exploring the town we stumbled upon Fat Stan's. The restaurant was clean and had a great vibe to it. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Most especially the bar tender who assured me that my turn was coming up shortly as she worked through a number of orders. The duck farts were smooth and delicious and the Pizza came out quickly and was fabulous.
