The last two times I've picked up orders at this Domino's store I have had issues. Last time, the young man working the counter acted lost and unsure of how to determine whose order was ready and unable to understand that the order had been paid for when the order was placed on the internet and I figured he was new and still figuring things out. Today I again went in to pick up the order that my husband had placed on the internet and prepaid. There were only two young men working and a couple minutes after I arrived the taller of the two left to do a delivery, leaving only the one confused young man from my previous visit to do everything. I made eye contact with this young man several times over the next 20 minutes or so and he just kept working. Not once during that time did he greet me, acknowledge me in any way or ask me if I had come in to order or to pick up. A couple of minutes after the delivery boy left, I saw what I figured was probably my order all boxed up and sitting in the warmer, I figured once the one employee that was left finished the item he was currently working on, he would come up and see what I needed. He did not. After I had been waiting, alternately standing and sitting (I have a bad back) for somewhat over 20 minutes, the employee that had left to do his delivery came back in and I thought 'Oh, good, now someone will check on what I am here for'. No, this employee immediately started working on making and boxing product. I finally had enough, went over to the area in front of where they were tossing the pizza crusts and addressed them, letting them know that NO ONE had attempted to acknowledge me or wait on me to see if I needed to order or pickup. The employee that had been dodging me the whole time started making excuses and said he'd been there all alone and that there was nothing he could do about it. I informed him that while I understood he was busy, he could have looked up at anytime and acknowledged my presence and asked me if I needed to order or pick up. He grumbled and finally said he'd figured I was there to pick up, but he didn't know which order. I informed him that is 'why you ask!'. He grudgingly stopped what he was doing and checked the name on the order that had been sitting on the warmer for 20 minutes! Yes, it was my order and he did apologize, but I could tell it his heart really wasn't in it. I told him I understood that his job kept him very busy, but if he'd only taken a moment to speak to me, I could have had my order and already been home and this incident would never have had to happen. Needless to say, I left the store pretty well pissed off at the lack of customer service, not to mention when I got home my husband informed me that part of the order (sauces and dressings that had already been paid for) were missing. I have no problem with the quality of the food from this store, but if all the local owner is doing is training the employees to make pizza, chicken, and sandwiches, but not training them to provide even the most minimal of customer service, then I hate to say it, but this store will eventually run all of it's customers off, good pizza or not. My husband and I have already agreed that when we do order from the store again, if the customer service has not improved we will NEVER darken their door again. We will make the reasons clear to all of our local family, friends, and social media. My recommendation.........Train your employees to do more than just make food! There are after all several other places in the Dells that we could be ordering our...
Read moreYou’re going to eat here.. Its this or another pizza place that can bake a pizza in 10 minutes. Face it, you have a hotel room full of kids driving you up the wall and its this or the unknown local joints. The best I can do is prepare you for whats to come..
Now for my review.. The cashier could not decipher "Dan" as a short name for Daniel, and because of this could not find my order (ordered online). Not until after 5 minutes and with some assistance from her fellow teammates were they able to find my order. As I walked out with our order I had the frame of mind to check whether everything was included. Sure enough, no dipping sauces for the bread sticks and chicken. I was then told we had to pay for them, despite paying when ordering. After another few minutes we were able to sort this out by pulling up my order. Not too big of a deal as this happens alot with domino's, right? Now for the headliner! I asked for eating utensils for the chicken, specifically some forks, which have been available at domino's locations across the united states upon request. I was then told they do not have forks and had nothing to offer me for eating my chicken, which was ordered to go. Guess its a good thing I did not dine in! Had to drive down the block to a gas station and buy forks for my children to eat chicken.
And the best for last- The food was terrible! Even by domino's standards!! When a 4 year old thinks the pizza taste terrible you know...
Read moreMy parents and I were visiting from out of town and we were hoping to take advantage of the $6.99 pizza deals but of course that’s how Domino’s gets you because all the pizzas we wanted were not a part of the $6.99 deal. The cashier was a young female who seemed very new to the job and offered no real help in helping us understand what kind of pizzas were under the $6.99 deal. She was standing there staring at us like a zombie and provided very little information. She is the reason for a mixed review because she could have asked one of her coworkers for help if she was confused but she just stood there. It’s as if she did not want to be bothered with us. In the end, we waited 40 minutes for them to make the pizza (not complaining about that lol). We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was very lackluster and bland (literally just grilled chicken on top of the pizza with buffalo sauce that wasn’t even spicy drizzled on top with onions), a Hawaiian pizza, and a meat lovers pizza. I also ordered the Parmesan bread twists which were delicious and some chocolate lava cakes which were also delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the food but the service was very unwelcoming and not the best...
