Ordered my daughter’s usual Starbucks drink before heading out to a large volleyball tournament. We made sure to order OATMILK as she is lactose intolerant but it seems Starbucks ignored the OATMILK request or provided a spoiled product. My daughter became ill within minutes, literally between the Sahara and WestGate monorail stops. She was unable to play because she was so ill. When we were able to get back to the Starbucks in the Sahara Hotel I asked for a manager. After a few minutes of waiting at the counter someone walks up to me and tells me she’s not management but will relay any concerns I have. That was unacceptable and I waited 5 more minutes for the manager to finally meet with me. We addressed our concerns about being provided with a bad $19 order causing my daughter to lose a full day the sport she loves and trains for. The Starbucks manager offered to remake the order, the order that has caused my daughter intestinal distress for the past 4 hours. When that obviously wasn’t acceptable she told me if I wanted a refund I would have to call customer service and deal with someone on the phone to have my account refunded. As if I have the time to fight with someone customer service rep for a refund to an account I will be deleting. There are lots of options for caffeine these days. I recommend NOT risking getting a drink that will make you sick and ruin your experience while in Las Vegas. Avoid this Starbucks location at all costs! I did notify the hotel management staff and the Sahara manager was apologetic and understanding. He went out of his way even though he didn’t have too. I appreciate The Sahara but NOT Starbucks, piss poor attitude, customer service, or lack of...
Read moreI regret to express my utter disappointment with this Starbucks location. This establishment has proven to be the epitome of a subpar coffee experience.
Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by an atmosphere that exuded hostility, with employees displaying a notable lack of basic courtesy and friendliness. Not a single smile or greeting was offered during my entire visit, setting an uncomfortable tone.
In an attempt to get a refill for my Pike Coffee, I was appalled to be informed of a $0.50 charge, despite being a loyal “Gold” cardholder. When I raised this issue, the response was dismissive, directing me to wait in an excruciatingly long line. It took me over 20 minutes just to secure a simple refill!
While attempting to discuss this matter with the manager, the staff showcased an embarrassing lack of competence, unable to comprehend how to process a refill. This displayed a glaring absence of both leadership and adequate training among the team.
In sum, the level of service, courtesy, and professionalism at this Starbucks is shockingly deficient. It is disheartening to witness such disregard for customer satisfaction and basic operational efficiency. If I had the option, I would rate this establishment a resounding zero stars.
I sincerely hope this review prompts some much-needed introspection and improvement in the management and training of the staff to provide a more hospitable and customer-centric experience...
Read moreI have been frequenting this location for over 3 years and the baristas here are top notch. They are so patient with customers who aren't used to such high traffic locations, I've seen them keep their cool while hurried tourists get rude with them. Be prepared to wait (or just order ahead). The atmosphere of this location has potential because the café is beautifully designed but sadly, more often than not, it is ruined by people playing media on their phone speakers. I urge this location to install signage reminding customers not to play music or take calls on the speaker of their personal devices. It would make the place more peaceful, and quite frankly, much less trashy. The baristas are too busy to enforce such a rule but...
