I stopped here finally because they are always packed, so I thought they have to have something good. My party of 4 ( 7yr and 4 yr old) then 2 adults. We ordered Oreo concrete( it is called something else, it also has caramel and hot fudge but my kid didn’t want all that in hers), James Brownie concrete ( it has PB, brownie, caramel, hot fudge), Punpkin pie concrete( it had graham crackers in it), my own personal twist( PB cups with marshmallow). The custard in general was runny and lacked flavor, that was disappointing. The Oreo cookie was fresh , the PB cups were fresh, graham crackers were fresh. The Jamie’s Brownie had way too much caramel/hot fudge/PB, it was disgusting. The pumpkin pie concrete was good despite the actual custard has zero flavor and it was runny. My personal twist concrete mixer was rather disappointing (my twist isn’t ever disappointing, that’s why I get it no matter where I go. I stick with what works) However if the ingredient are subpar then no flavor will work. At this place the marshmallow was God awfully thick, stale, and disgusting! When a place has good ice cream/custard, you will be able to tell because it brings all the flavors together. Now when it’s bad, you’ll tell cuz the ingredients will taste separate and bad; just like all of ours did( besides pumpkin pie, has a lot of spice so it over powers anything else). We spent around 25 dollars here, I am finding it hard to believe this place stays in business because their custard is subpar. I wouldn’t go back here, if anything I’ll go to Dairy Queen or Culver’s, they have way better soft serve...
Read moreThis is the only place I come to for my ice cream and after the visit today (Saturday, 02.05.2022, approximately 2:00pm/2:15pm), I am very displeased! Before placing my order I asked the guy at the window if I can see the actual sizes of the small and medium concrete cups (I’m familiar with the large because that’s what I usually get). So I place my order: 2 MEDIUM concretes- 1 of them vanilla and the other vanilla with Oreos. he gives me my total, which was $8.75 and I paid using my card. I asked for a cup holder as well. So he returned my card, gave me the spoons, and when my order was ready- he handed me the cup holder with the concretes in them. When I placed the cup holder in my passenger seat I was able to get a better look of the sizing and the vanilla one is clearly NOT a medium. So I asked about it and his excuse was it’s that size because I didn’t get toppings for that one- which makes no sense. If that was the case, why not tell me that when I placed my order and BEFORE I paid especially after I asked to SEE the size of the cups?! I specifically asked for TWO mediums and it’s evident in the photo that that was not what I received! He asked if I wanted a larger size (and was going to charge me for it). I declined. I should have asked for a manager because that was not right and horrible customer service. Also, I did not receive a receipt. Again, I’m very displeased with my visit today. The 2 stars are for the concretes being good.
Tried to give them another chance today (9.24.2022). The workers had attitudes and I definitely won’t be returning. I’ll stick with...
Read moreHave been coming to this location often since moving to the area last year. Unfortunately, service/wait times have been trending worse. Wife and I stopped by evening of 8/14/22. Noticed that their window was open and so decided to stand in line vs drive-thru, assuming the drive thru was going to be slower. What a foolish choice that was! Ended up seeing the long drive-thru line clear completely before our order was even taken. The woman at the window taking orders would take the orders of one party, then close the window and go make the order. Came back, gave the orders to the party that ordered, and then repeat the process. This ended up in a longer than necessary wait standing in line.
Several things I don't understand. Why didn't she take multiple orders? There were at least 8 (counted) employees inside. Why was the one at the window the one taking orders, going back to make them and serve? Even if it takes 5 to work the drive-thru (1 cashier, 1 outside getting orders, 3 on the line), why wasn't at least one helping with orders from the window? It's quite irritating to see employees on their phones, laughing with their coworkers, in plain view of people waiting in line to place orders. If you're going to slack off, do it in the back out of view. Getting our order, half melted, after the wait we had, was the cherry on top.
It is so frustrating seeing this location continue to struggle with service. The manager/owner have completely lost the meaning...
