Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Lewisville

I called this location last week after I had an unfortunate incident at subway. Two of the subway locations here in the Colony would NOT accept their own company's coupons. So I called and asked the manager at Jimmy John's on Plano pkwy if they would accept a competitor's coupon after explaining to him what had just happened to me at subway. He in turn told me that no he would not accept the coupon but that if I came into his location that he would just GIVE me a sandwich. WoW! I went into the store in tears. With gas prices rising and inflation at the grocery stores, getting a decent bite to eat daily without breaking the bank has become a for real chore. I met Cole the manager at this location. He made a really good sandwich for me. He would not accept the coupon or money, but I did leave as a tip the money that I would have spent at subway. If I could give a million stars to Jimmy John's on this review, I would. I wish I had had the courage to tell them at that time how much their kindness meant to me with all the health issues and family/financial problems I'm facing in my life currently. I will never order from this location again. We've been fine when they have forgotten a bag of chips or it taken 45 min to deliver. Tonight it took 1 hr 45 min, ordered at 6:22 pm and delivered at 8:07. I called to check on the order after 50 min, and was advised it was already on it's way and could take another 10-15 min. If it hadn't already been on the way I was going to cancel. At 7:50 I continuously called this location but no one would answer. I absolutely wanted to cancel. I was reporting this location to the main HQ when driver arrived at my house. The sandwiches were soggy, one of the bags of chips was the wrong flavor. What annoyed me the most was the location not answering the phone. Driver attempted apology for wait but I was well past the point...

I have been working for a business as a receptionist for a couple years and Nick, Ken and Robbin have always been the ones who deliver to us. They have excellent customer service and have always been quick with everyone's delivery. They have always maintained wonderful attitudes even when they would deliver to us several times in the same day. Hats off to them! I workna different position now but I still order from them because they are freaky fast! This is an exceptional location with brilliant workers! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
