The food was pretty good but dang expensive. My fiancé got their Nashville hot chicken sandwich and he really liked it. I got the chicken tenders to see the other side of things which were pretty good. I still think I like Chick-fil-A’s strips a little bit better, they’re more tender and juicy. Their signature sauce was also good. I would compare the tenders/sauce to Raising Cane’s in taste and texture.
It’s nice that they have a ton of variety on their menu, especially with the sandwiches. They also have a lot more options with ice cream and shakes. I got their Mint Oreo cold fusion and it was pretty good. My fiancé got a double custard which was way smaller than my cold fusion and only $1 cheaper so I would recommend going for the cold fusion if you want to try their custard, better bang for your buck.
Their fries were mediocre. I like my fries crispy and these were pretty floppy and soft. You get a ton of them though so I guess it’s worth $5, great for sharing with at least one other person to save some money.
Speaking of money, this place is pretty expensive. With my fiancé’s sandwich, small cup of custard, my 4 tenders, fries, and shake it was $36!😅 at first you think their menu prices are reasonable until you realize the prices are for the entree only and you have to pay even more if you want fries and a drink/shake. I can get the same thing at Chick-fil-A for at least $10-$15 less!
The service was great. Our cashier was really nice and helpful. They kept the line moving pretty fast. And they got the food out pretty fast too for how many people were there. The drinks/sauces area was pretty crowded and messy but workers were there trying to help. Plenty of seating inside and outside.
Anyway sorry for the long review, overall the food is good and worth a try, just be prepared to spend a lot of money for it. I may come back to try one of their sandwiches but I definitely won’t waste money...
Read moreI wanted to try something new and had heard the occasional "Super Chix just opened and it'll do just fine until Raising Cane's opens". So I decided to head there. Immediately upon walking in, somehow it just has an air of... Hostility? I just felt like I was in a place I just wasn't welcome. That's not to say the my cashier was hostile, she was fantastic. But I couldn't help but notice how angry everyone else there looked. I got glares from everyone working the kitchen lines.
I ordered a blackened chicken sandwich and loaded rosemary fries. I got my food, went to my car and just stared in my bag in sheer disgust and disappointment. My bag of food was a greasy, sloppy, disgusting mess. They'd just tossed a bunch of fries in my bag, put in a little jar of sauce, and my sandwich on top. I guess I wasn't having fries with my meal. Because here's the thing... It wasn't busy, but my bag was ready to go and just sat there with my fries steaming.
What do you think when you hear loaded fries? Probably fries covered in a sauce with bacon and stuff? Yeah.. I paid them money for that. But I got a bunch of broken, soggy fries in a paper bag with a little cup of sauce that they wanted ME to mix together? I'm sorry, do I work at Super Chix? No. I don't. And besides, the sauce was too thick anyway. I ended up hardly even touching the fries... And the sandwich? It's a butterflied chicken breast with the minimal ingredients on it and minimal effort put into putting it together... I could make better at home. That's the real disappointment is the fact I could have made better myself at home... That and the disgusting mess in my bag.
I've asked others who have gone about their experiences, and they're the same. A messy, mediocre sandwich and a bag full of greasy, wet,...

Original: Got 2 small meals for my spouse and I. We were disappointed. Everything we got lacked flavor. We got a generic chicken tenders (not tossed in additional sauce) meal with fries (to compare and contrast to other chicken restaurants), I was not impressed with the chicken. The container they're in for take out keeps in all the condensation making the chicken breading soggy. The fries tasted fine when we first got them and eating them on the way home (less than 10 minutes away), but were cold by the time we got home.
If you're looking for a full meal (entre, side, drink and dipping sauce), it'll be about...
