I recently visited 청춘족발, and the food looks absolutely delicious as you can see from the photo I’ve shared. There’s clear attention to presentation and generous portions. However, there are a few areas I hope the owner might consider improving to take the experience to the next level. First, it seems like the side dishes are pre-portioned in advance for quick service. While I appreciate the efficiency, some of them came out dry, which took away from the freshness I expected.

Now for the main event...the meats. We ordered the garlic bossam, jokbal, and bul-jokbal (spicy version), and all the meat dishes were moist, tender, and high quality. No complaints about the cooking or texture at all. The big downside, though, was the flavor profile: everything leaned very sweet. There was little balance between sweet and savory. Even the sides-like cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, and brined cabbage- were sweet, making the overall flavor feel repetitive. We couldn’t finish our meal because we felt overwhelmed by the sweetness. It’s a real shame because the meat itself is excellent.

One suggestion: the bean sprout soup could be made more savory or spicy to help cut through the sweetness and reset the palate. Also, the bul-jokbal would benefit from a deeper smoky flavor to distinguish it from the others.

As for the garlic bossam-it was one of my favorites. The meat had almost a charcoal-grilled look that looked good. I just wish the garlic topping didn’t completely cover the pork, since it made the dish look a bit less appetizing, even though the taste was solid.

I’d love to come back if these things are improved because the quality of the meat is definitely there. Just needs some tweaks for a more balanced and satisfying experience.

Service was great! Server was attentive and helpful.

I’ve visited this Korean restaurant twice now, and both experiences left me genuinely impressed. The quality of the food speaks for itself—flavorful, balanced, and clearly prepared with care. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. During my first visit, the girl server was not only attentive but also intuitively thoughtful, striking just the right balance between friendly and professional. On my second visit, the boy server brought the same warmth and helpfulness, with excellent menu suggestions and attentive service that never felt rushed. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the staff shine so consistently. I’ll definitely be back—and recommend it to anyone who appreciates good Korean food served with...

Heard a lot of good comments on this restaurant lately. Got ourselves a medium jokbal (pig’s feet) and a small spicy buckwheat noodle. The jokbal, right after the first bite, we were like woah we’re ordering jokbal from this one from now on. So moist, tender, and good portion size. The noodle impressed us even more! Perfect to pair with jokbal, sweet, slightly vinegary. I really liked it came with bean sprout soup and three different kinds of banchan as well as fresh lettuce! I’m drooling over the...
