Actually, I’ve had a bad experience in the past at a restaurant in Koreatown, so I was really hesitant and nervous before stepping into this one. But despite being alone, all my anxiety melted away thanks to the incredibly kind owner.
The Combo #3 that the owner recommended was a perfect match for my taste. She even kindly explained how to eat the Chueo Bulgogi (mudfish bulgogi), and when I followed her instructions, it turned out to be absolutely delicious.
When they heard that an elderly and unwell person had come to eat, they looked genuinely concerned. I could really feel their heartfelt respect and care for their customers.
They even paid attention to whether other customers were having any issues with parking, showing a genuine sense of care. I truly wish this restaurant great success.

I’d imagine you’d have to go for street parking on weekends & evenings. Their menu is simple - 5 items that all specialize on korean pond loach. Your best bet is to get the bbq loach stew combo for $23. While their stew seems to be center stage of the restaurant, it’s the grilled loach that really stands out for me - cooked to perfection with just the right amount char and flavor. This place is just another example of the treasures you’ll find in discreet hole in the walls that require just a little bit of...
