DingTea is a cute small boba tea and ice cream shop in Los Feliz (LA) known for its fresh teas and other beverages. Similarly, they offer ice cream. They’re located in a midsize plaza on Hollywood blvd and Hobart street. Interior atmosphere was very cool and relaxing; interior design was pretty simple but cute especially the green and pink flower grass petal wall. They have an extensive selection of milk and fruit teas and toppings to choose from. Moreover, the drink size available was regular (16 oz) and large (20 oz). After looking at their menu, I ordered a large Winter Melon Green Tea with boba. I had a mix feeling about it because the melon flavor was very faint and it’s more like drinking 90% ice water. However, I did liked their boba pearl. It’s soft, chewy and sweet. It’s definitely different from all the boba pearls that I have tasted from different boba tea shops/houses. I guess it’s unique in texture. Staff were nice, competent and professional. Service was moderately fast. Prices were fair and beats other tea shops in the area. Overall, I had a decent boba and I enjoyed the service. Definitely will try other tea drinks and ice...
Read moreFirst time trying their Signature Milk Tea with Golden Boba from this location and it is yummy! Boba tastes chewy and fresh. The drink overall tastes pretty consistent to other Ding Tea locations I have been. I would say it tastes more milk-y rather than tea-y. I prefer a stronger tea- taste, but I am happy how this was made nonetheless. I am sure the ratios of tea/milk depends on the staff member making it. Anyway, I forgot to take a picture of me holding the drink without my cat in it so this picture will have to do for now.
As far as parking-- not sure how the valet parking situation works so I just parked on the paid metered street parking across the street. Will definitely be coming back though and will figure out the parking...
Read moreGreat bar AND cafe! At night Room 389 has a lively outdoor area (in the front) with lots of room inside the bar. In the very back there is a dimly lit couch area with options of board games to choose from. Also a great day bar for a casual drink, and dogs are welcome inside the bar!
The cafe is equally great, their regular coffee blend usually has some sort of cinnamon mixture that is delicious. It's also a reasonably priced coffee ($2!!) which is a rare find in Oakland. There are some food options to choose from, although I have never tried the food here. Prices are very reasonable, definitely...
