Everyone, if you are in Hollywood and your looking for a good hookah lounge, do NOT go to Hollywood Hookah lounge, They will rip you off forsure and provide you bad customer service. On Halloween night, me, my girlfriend and her 2 cousins decided to go there and it was our first time. They charged us $20 each which we thought that it would cover the hookah. They had us sign a something on a screen and take a picture but we thought it was some type of membership or something and they didn't explain what it was so it was our mistake for not knowing what we were signing. Then the waiter tool us to get seated, then be passed out menu's and asked for my card and my i.d, then my girlfriend asked him "we aren't getting charged for the hookah right?" And he said " NO, we are not getting charged" so we went ahead and ordered 2 hookahs. Then my girlfriends cousin wanted to order a drink so my gf let the waiter know to not charge the drink on my card. So anyways time goes by and we're smoking our hookah then it's time to leave. We go to the front desk to go get my card and my i.d, then they hit us with a $70 bill, and mind yu, that wasn't including the $20 entrance fee, this was a separate bill for the 2 hookahs. So we asked why we were getting charged and the guy who was charging us at the front desk said " we had to pay for the hookah." So we told him that we asked the waiter if we were being charged for the hookah before we ordered and he said no, then we figured the $20 entrance fee was to cover the hookah. And the host told us that the entrance fee and the hookah was separate. So basically the waiter LIED to us and we tried to talk to the manager/owner about it but he didn't care he was too busy worrying about the people who were trying to get in because he specifically said "there's nothing I can do about it, we're busy and I have a line out there" and they told us that everything is explained at the door, which was not explained then they tried to blame us. How can we be the blame when their waiter told us we weren't getting charged, that is false advertisement and fraud. So we ended up paying the $70. So overall we spent $150 in that same place. For only a few hours. So I would advise you all not to go there, they will rip you off, lie to your face and will provide you HORRIBLE...
Read moreThis place is definitely in Hollywood, or at least the mentality of the staff. and not in any of the good ways. To start with you will be reminded by 7 men before you get in that there is a cover which is common for these places but they will cement it into your head, after all the fun at the front you are taken to what I must assume is a big waiting room, because it took 25 minutes to be served. After asking 6 employees for service that looked liked the singer "the weekend" (but I'm sure works all weekends so we named him the weekday) Were always told that our server will be with us. You must ask 3 times or else your server wont appear. Finally a poor girl named Brittney came to our table to grab our order. I say poor girl because her eyes kept rolling so I'm sure she must have felt ill, maybe a brain tumor she might want to get checked out. After meeting that charming woman, we finally got our stuff. It took $150 bucks but finally we had what we came for. really wished we could have enjoyed our selves and spent more but Britney must have passed out from her eye rolling illness because we didn't see her for the rest of the night until we asked for a bill. She must have woken up in hopes of a tip to pay for all the medical bills she must have because she was back for that bill faster than anyone ever said hello to us. I understand your in Hollywood but this place is a joke. customer service is gone. no desire to work or help customers. i could blindfold someone and bring them here. if i told them they are in Hollywood and this was there first time in Hollywood, CA . . .well dreams would be crushed. I guess you guys did one thing right with the no refunds thing because I don't know how you would ever have returning customers. thanks for making Hollywood trash ; ) if you have common sense, and an actual functioning working brain you will see that this place is a travesty. It doesn't take an education know these people are cons.

Read moreVery negative experience. I was with a party to celebrate. Everyone except two of us wanted to smoke hookah. We informed personnel at the door and were told that is fine, we had to pay $10 to enter if we weren't going to smoke hookah. I pulled out my AMEX and was told "cash only" and was directed to the ATM machine. I paid the $4.95 ATM fee to remove cash and paid $10 to enter and not hookah. I was then directed to a mock-TSA set up where my driver's license was scanned and I was entered into a database labeled "member registration". I let security know that I do not want to register as a member. I was told I still had to enter myself into their database (monitored by law enforcement) and security pointed to the mounted flatscreen that had an estimated 1000+ words in size 8 font that no one realistically has time to read. Due to being rushed to move through, I registered myself into the database and walked through the (empty) front lounge to the back (nearly empty) lounge where there was a DJ. I and the one other person decided to order food and alcohol to compensate for not doing hookah. Drinks arrived. Food arrived. All was paid for and generous tip was left. While we are trying to enjoy the rest of the night and finish eating and drinking we are told we have to leave if we are not going to purchase a hookah. That sums up my experience. How is it that we personel acknowledges that two of us won't be going hookah and charge a $10 cover, we compensate by purchasing food and alcohol, PAY FOR EVERYTHING AND LEAVE A TIP, money is taken and we still get asked to leave? What kind of...
