Chicken was nice and crunchy and moist. I heard about this newly opened kfc spot in Ktown and decided to eat in and give them a shot. The owners are really nice and has a mom and pop feel about it. I had the soy jade 10 piece wings and it was quite delectable. Heavier on the salty soy than garlic flavor. I would definitely come back and try their other flavors.
ADA PARKING BEWARE: I am a disabled driver with a placard and I had an awful experience with the valet man coming into the restaurant while I was eating to tell me I had to pay the parking fee even tho LA county law is that handicapped patrons can park in the spots for free. He was quite angry and loud about it and it caused quite a scene because he profiled me for being young. I am a young disabled person who constantly deals with this layer of discrimination but that was quite over the top. Read moreI've been craving bone in fried chicken for forever. I finally find a place that does it, but the smallest order you can get is five pieces for $17. There is no way in the world I could eat five pieces of drums and thighs. And since I don't live in the area, I won't have any refrigeration to keep the leftovers in.
Thankfully, once I explained to my situation, And since I have a small cooler, they were kind enough to offer me some ice in a bag, to keep the leftovers fresh. I genuinely appreciate this kindness.
