bringing a 50 bill to get a $6 latte was trouble here. i waited in line for 20 minutes then the young teenager asked around for change. i told him it came from the bank š¦ then he asked a random coworker who assumed was the manager and right away told me i can call corporate. i told him im not calling corporate. instead of having a can-do mentality over a 50 bill they rather providing me horrendous customer service. i had 5 bill in my wallet and asked if i can get a discount for my latte so i justify making that long line. right away he told me in a rude way itll be $6 dollars. so i told him that there is no sticker or sign at the register stating that there is no change for a larger bills than $20 as i have seen many times elsewhere. then of course his schpeel about the calling corporate office. i left speechless and upset how a starbucks adjacent to the staples center and nokia theater and so many popular restaurants allows monsters to work there and behave that way saying no means no. i am middle aged man being treated this way. thats horrendous and i will never visit this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA TRUE RARITY! It's so impressive to find a Starbucks with incredible service and professionalism in a busy metropolitan area like L.A Live! I visit this Starbucks at least once a year and every time I come in it's busy but the staff run like a well oiled machine! I ordered two orders of egg whites, a lemon loaf, and a venti cold brew, everything came out to me in less than 20 minutes. Note, the line was almost out the door and I still received quick service! The girl at the register and the guy who was calling out orders were super friendly even under the pressure of the customers.
I really don't understand the low ratings for this Starbucks, I've NEVER had an issue here. The staff keep the restroom open even during con season and they accommodate to the difficult guests from the hotels nearby. I love how inclusive this Starbucks is, it's very welcoming and I feel right at home when I come in. This Starbucks has standing tables and a limited supply of merch (mugs, cups, etc.). I visit this Starbucks when I have an event at the convention center or Crypto Arena, it's...

When there's a game or event going on at Staples Center, the line will go 15 to 20 people long. Now those are the nights that the locals avoid, but still makes this a happening spot. There's a big huge table in the middle of the shop with about 10 chairs around it. Along the front window is a raised bar area which seems to be the least desirable seats of the place so is the last filled. The spots that get occupied often are the round stone tables across one of the walls (annoyingly sized for barely 1 laptop) and raised booth seating (most limited since there are only 2). There's always going to be people in this bucks no matter what night it is. If the weather permits, I enjoy the outside the best. There's tables out there where I typically hang my coat on my frequent...
