The manger created a hostile environment. I walked into store with my scrubs on as a professional RN working in the community. I stood to order something. There were 3 customers in front of me. I walked to the other end of the counter and asked if I could have the code to the bathroom because I really needed to go to the bathroom and I was planning to order after using the bathroom. I was told I had to order something first. I implied I really needed to use the bathroom and would Oder something after I came out. I asked for the manger and the woman who denied me the code to the bathroom responded she was the manger. She told me if I do not like their rules I could leave the store. I was shocked by her inhumane and unprofessional response, I stood in line and ordered a cookie, then I was given the code to the bathroom. As I coming out I informed a couple of customers who were trying to tailgate into the restroom I gave them a head up they may need to order before using the bathroom. The manger walked from behind the counter and shouted at me not to speak to her customers and I should leave the store and I am not longer welcome there. . I was stunned and in disbelief. I literally cried when I got to my car. I have never been so humiliated and belittled for asking to use the restroom. I have been a customer for Starbucks for as long as I could remember. I will no longer be purchasing anything from the Starbucks franchise, and the many companies that I am associated with will give the business during the holiday season to alternative coffee shop. They are the most racist company and group of people I've ever encountered. I've had the police called on me and was banned from the Arlington, Medford, and Somerville locations, all within Massachusetts. I've applied many times for employment at several different Starbucks locations, but they never hire me, even after receiving a job interview. I could go into the details of how rude and disrespectful they were to me at all these locations, but I'd have to write a novel. It did not have any espresso in it so I kindly came back stood there a bit & finally made the taller blonde guy aware, he responded “you don’t think it has any?” Umm I’m 100% sure you WILL be able to taste even a shot of espresso in an iced chai tea. Plus the cup usually has a darker brown color given it’s a dirty chai. I’m telling you my venti cup has no espresso. I responded “no”….he had an attitude took my cup and they remade it. But this time my chai tea was ALL ESPRESSO & soy milk & NO CHAI.
